Several things can be true. I agree that the edit likely didn’t give the full story because it rarely ever does, but there are consistencies about her personality on both shows that make her hard to like. I could barely tolerate her on either show. That being said, I don’t know that lady personally and I’m glad that a Black woman knows her worth and is in a position to walk away from any less than ideal situation. I’m rooting for the 92%. We’re still magic despite our flaws.

Giving Monique grace is a little unfair to Chris. As displayed on RHOP, Monique knew the type of man she married. So for her to go on another reality show and bring that same mentality towards her husband wasn't going to make matters change or put her in a better light. What it did was pull them completely apart into a divorce, which I think they were headed before going on the DC show. Two things can be true at once. Carlos is a messy boots but Monique is exactly who we saw on both Potomac and Love & Marriage! I went back and watched Potomac starting from her season and also watched Love & Marriage! Her behavior had nothing to do with editing. After attacking Candice she continued to be unable to take accountability for her actions..she lacks humility and has a bad habit of blaming everyone else for things that go wrong. Go back and watch both shows and you’ll see what I’m saying!

Thank you!! She went after him while he was in another relationship for security. He afforded her a lifestyle but he couldn’t get her access. That’s why she tried to use Charrisse and Charrisse clocked it. Her pastor told her the ladies were impressed by her things, which was true because even broke, people like Robyn had access into circles because of Charrisse. Monique tried to use Carlos and she got outmaneuvered and Chris wasn’t as gullible as she thought. You know she didn’t want Chris because why else would there be rumors about her and a trainer?
