They both sound good. Yes, the Dali has more resolution and more open , but it would be harsher during loud listening sessions. Depends on your taste.

this video really can tell the difference between these speakers ,listen with headphone the Dali is more balance and refine , the MA let down in resolution in comparation and bass not so smooth too .

Two issues here. First, your audition room is way too hot. There seems (and sounds) to be no sound treatments. There are just crazy reflections all over the place. Top end is all echo and significant mid-bass boom. There is no way to legitimately evaluate these speakers in this room. Second, the Dali's are not supposed to be slanted/toed-in - at all. They should be completely front facing. You can hear the top end sizzle because the speakers are toed-in when the should not be. Please, first thing is get some carpet. Add some furniture, some book shelves, something to tame the room. Once you do those things, and position the Dali's correctly, they should sound nice and airy on top, but without any sizzle, and with holographic imaging, and the bass should sound deep and rich, without all of that boom and echo. The mid-bass is bouncing around the room so much that there is no space for the lower bass to develop and be heard. Hope this helps in the future!

I own MA Silver RS8. Dali is much better here. Choosing an amplifier for MA is a sport. You are warned before buying.

На первый взгляд Далишки звучат ярче, сочнее. Но при дальнейшем прослушивании их саунд становится утомительным и слишком навязчивым. Обе пары отличные, но всёже мой выбор Мониторы. У них более академическое звучание.

@@nmdpeaceout Yes they’re very good. I use them for both 2 channel music listening and home theatre. I would say though that any speaker with a metal dome tweeter such as these can be a little harsh in the highs. I tweaked this by putting some felt material under the speaker grill over the tweeter. It took the edge off the highs. I paid $2,500 for mine in piano black, I listened to about 10 different speakers up to about $5,000 and these were the ones I liked. This was roughly 8 years ago. I’ve been considering upgrading all my 2 channel system but I think I would end up outlaying about $30,000 yet likely only get a modest improvement. Not really good value so I might stick with my current gear. The RX8 deliver what to me is excellent bass and plenty of it. I have the front port open with the rear port blocked off, I was getting slightly boomy bass with the rear port open because they’re fairly close to the wall. It’s good that you have the choice of front and rear ports on this speaker, you can close off whichever is your preference. I do use a REL subwoofer as well for the low lows in movies which is very beneficial for explosions which most floorstanders would struggle with. But I think a lot of people would be happy with these speakers even without a subwoofer, you just won’t get the window rattling lows from movie explosions. I do recommend these speakers if looking at floorstanders below about $5,000. I have no regrets in my choice after about 8 years. I think the 6 would also be good but maybe not the bass that the 8 has.
