Bangkok is actually very easy to get around once you get use to riding the sky train and subway….so many awesome parks tucked away throughout the city too…..enjoyed the video guys😃

Im a Leo Virgo cusp :) I love that turtle shell . So the tree I started down a rabbit hole , they are Native to the Americas and with the name I thought about the calabash pipe , that's actually made from the calabash gourd which is a different plant all together and from Africa . I had no idea about the calendar in Thailand that's actually really cool . The Monitor lizards where cool ,but that kitten at the end was so dang CUTE !!! . Awesome video

That was a beautiful park! And those monitor lizards are so cool! We used to have a savannah monitor lizard. He was only about a foot long when I gave him to my bf for Xmas and he got big about 2.5 ft long and fat! Lol! No more little mice for dinners he ate small rats and it was pretty gruesome but he would catch them and slam them into the rocks to kill them! But he was a good pet until we broke up and I don't know what happened to him after that. But that park was pretty awesome from the foliage to the pagoda. The water running through it and the lizards! But the food was the best! Lol awesome park and free so even better! Thanks you guys for showing us how good free can be! ❤

Lizards make awesome pets, but yeah the feeding can be a bit heartbreaking. Sorry you lost yours in the breakup. We miss having a pet so much. Lots of people in Asia have little sugar gliders. We considered it for a hot minute.

On holidays, Saturday and Sunday, you can take the BTS to see the public park, Chatuchak, and the market. Everything is for sale in that area, including private department stores and cheap government flea markets.

Since the park covers the whole block, if you go back the next time, be sure to stop at the Silom Station, Exit 1, so you won't have to cross a wide street.

The lizards were amazing although their tongues were a little creepy. It’s weird to see them just wandering around. It looks like Bangkok has a very nice subway system. The glass partitions and doors make them a lot safer, but most older systems don’t have them unless they have been retrofitted with them. I’ve learned most subways are quite similar. Once you know how to navigate one, you can navigate all if them. I am a Pisces.

Next month,Thailand have a Loy krathong festival. Chiangmai is a nice place for this festivals. next from Chiangmai, it’s Chiang-rai have a nice temple (Lanna architecture) such as white temple and blue temple. 27 oct 2024, we have Grand Royal Barge Procession in chaopraya river at Bangkok. Interestingly monitor lizards in lumbhini park and perhaps even the murder of crows in the park are considered wild animals since they live there before the park was built. I believe the park was swamp and forest before bangkok was founded.

The lizards is not dangerous if you don't approach them. Usually they get scared of adults. They can kill pets and young children though.
