on my speakers the evokes are the winners. The MA sound is to glairy with sharp highs, the evokes are smother, with no less detail, better sense of the recording venue, and better texture to the sound. Winners by a mile.

Here's the thing with these two different designs. The monitor audio has a lot of transient attack in the highs. Those two high frequency units let you have it but it has a nice detail overall. The Dynaudio are a bit the other way, perhaps a bit smoothed over in the high mids. I think both would sound better if matched with appropriate amplifiers. Not the NAD , perhaps sim moon dynaudio and Hegel for monitor audio. I think this video shows the importance of matching components sympathetically. 😊

MA GOLD - Warm and full low bass Evoke - High freq higher sounding. lean more to natural sounding for mid and mid-low. both have different characteritics. I believe evoke is easier to listen to on a longer period of time, where MA is really great for vocal song, classical , musical intrucment.

Somebody mentioned the MA's bass is fuller and I agree, but the Dynaudio's bass is faster and more punchy. And because of that, I find the MA's drums and vocals get a little muffled together while on the Evoke 50 you can clearly hear the cymbals on the drum and the drum doesn't interfere with the female vocal. The MA was doing just fine until you start hitting the higher notes on the guitar in the 2nd track and worse still the violin on the classical piece. At that point, I looked at the visual again and saw the ribbon tweeter on the MA and basically put two and two together. There was just no saving on that kind of sharpness, it was just too bright. The ribbon tweeter was OK with the female vocal because her voice wasn't that high-pitch and it sounded relatively airy, but once you get to that higher frequency range, it just fell apart for me. Whereas on the Evoke, I find the overall presentation of the music and the way all the drivers work together was cohesive. Nothing jumped out from the Dynaudio hardware, the mid range didn't, the silk dome tweeter didn't, it was just more seamless and balanced overall. As a conclusion, the first thing that came to mind was I find that you can really spend time to have an extended listening session with the Dynaudio, it is just one of those speakers, 2, 3, 4 hours no problem. The MA much less so pending on track/music selection too. If I were to buy one of the two pairs, yes I would take the Dynaudios without a question.

@@wineaudio2004 In terms of transient response, I would say again the Dynaudio's drivers especially the bass are more agile even though as I understand it is a long-throw design, still it comes across as better controlled than the MA. This could be the new Esotec+ woofer at work. The midrange driver is also working wonderfully. When you listen to the Beatles' acoustic guitar piece, on the Evoke you can actually feel the tension on the guitar strings when the player plucks them. It kind of reminds me of a Korean guitar player Ahn Jung Jae when he plays Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good" with his amazing finger style. All in all, I would say the MA has a more relaxing presentation to the music as compared to the Dynaudio's more upbeat take on the same material. When you listen to Yerin Baek's "Our love is great", on the MA you kind of just want to chill with the song, but on the Evoke I find myself bobbing my head and really getting into the track which if I am not wrong was a big hit in Korea. Going back to the subject of "transient response", when it comes down to it, the Dynaudio just has a better grip of the music, every note starts and stops pretty much where they are supposed to. They don't hang around with a longer decay like in some cases on the MA which may seem a tad lazy at times, thus its more relaxing nature. I am not sure about the situation in Korea, but the Evoke 50 seems to be selling very well. I follow a website called HiFiShark.com which basically gathers all the postings of hi-fi gear on sale online from around the world. I have been keeping taps on the Evoke 50 and the moment a reasonably priced offer comes out, it is snapped up almost immediately especially if is in gloss black. Initially, I was thinking about the Special 40 as so many people have been singing praises on it, now I am not so sure. What do you think about the Special 40 vs the Evoke 50?

You should pay attention to the acoustics of the PMC. PMC Twenty.22, PMC Twenty.24 or PMC Twenty.26. This is a top-end Hi-End acoustics.

Cheap amplifier was used, and it shows. With MA Gold 300 5G, amp should start from at least an Yamaha A-S1200. I speak from experience.

Clearly shows through the You Tube compression LOL😅. The NAD C388 is rated the same at 4 ohms as the AS2100, and the Gold 300s are 90db sensitive speakers, the NAD in this video will not be struggling. I own the Gold 300s with a yamaha AS3200. I find the comments in this video are hilarious, everyone thinks they can analyze the sound from KZbin.

클래식에서는 모니터오디오가 더 낫네요.. 다인스피커는 뒤에 큰 스피커가 있어서 그런지 고음이 살짝 쏩니다. 그외에는 둘다 괜찮다고 봅니다.

저음 영역에서 밀도감과 단단함은 다인오디오. 풍부하면서도 깊은느낌은 모니터오디오. 탄노이 웅장하면서 화려한게 매력적이네요. 다인오디오 쭉쭉 뻣어가면서 힘있는 중음이 돋보이네요. 모니터오디오 따듯하면서 때로는 강렬하게 정렬적인 느낌. 탄노이 공간과 울림의 조화가 압도하는 느낌 고음 에 다인오디오는 여유롭고 정갈하게 잡아주는 시원한느낌. 모니터오디오 명료하며 정확한 때로는 예리하지만 날카로움은 잘 잡아내는듯 . 마지막 탄노이는 중음과 깊은 저음의 울림속에서 상큼한 과일과같은 달콤한 고음느껴지네요. pc로청음 애쉬톤 at-3800 스피커와 creative 사운드 블러스터 zx 후기 입니다.

가격대를 비교하면 우열을 가리기 힘드나 듣는이의 성향에 의해 차이가 날듯 하군요. 이보크가 중.저음이 좀더 명료한 소리를 내어주는것 같고. 고음은 명징함이 좀더 센듯 합니다. 진공관 앰프를 물리면 지금과 다른 소리를 들려줄듯 합니다. 가성비 대비 모니터골드가 우세함.
