What's interesting is that as cruel and malicious as she is, she genuinely seemed to have fallen in love with him. From using her energy up to save him when they landed in the chasm to throwing herself at him saying she wanted to show him her affection, to even leaving him alive, when she has freely killed so many other people, even after he has spurned her. I was genuinely surprised but entertained when he only wanted her as the sword. Monk dude probably could have been very happy with her if he wasn't such a legendary weirdo.

@@JayAreAitch But that doesn't explain why she'd use her powers to try and save him at the end of season 2, or why, at that moment (when she admittedly didn't have a lot of options) she almost seemed content with the idea of being with him forever. Okay maybe she just thought someone would find her eventually, or maybe keeping him alive meant she could get out by having him carry her somewhere she could find a better puppet, but seeing as Lou actually said he'd be up for dying with her somewhere no one would ever find them (and she almost seemed scared of the guy up until those last few moments, first person she couldn't manipulate with her magic I guess) that seems like wishful thinking. But she didn't say that was her plan when asked, she got defensive and basically told her sister to drop it. And if her plan was just to wait it out, hope someone would find her eventually, why not stow her power and wait for a good opportunity to send out an S.O.S. or something, attract something she could work with. I think in a way it was a form of love. It's just these are two incredibly twisted people, and two negatives didn't create a positive in this case.

ケイガイではロウシンカイに戦闘力で勝てない(坊さんの時のロウシンカイは何度か不意打ちなどされたが全て完全回避できている)のと、ショウクンリンは最大の武器の魅了が一切効かない相性最悪の相手です。ショウクンリンにとって最善だったのは早めに距離を置くことだったのかと。 あと時空を行き来するオウマロウ(葉っぱ)は魔族にしか使いこなせない(使いこなすのには実力と鍛錬が必要)なので普通に考えれば過去に置き去りにすればロウシンカイは詰んでいた。しかし、これを覆してしまう人物がこの作品内に1人だけいたというオチです
