I love how Adrian changes in the final scene. While he's not fully cured from his mental illnesses he has gradually recovered and is the man he used to be before Trudy dies.

Absolutely 100% agree with you. Monk and Sharona's dynamic was unrivalled and entirely what I looked forward to with each instalment of the programme. To this day, they remain one of my favourite television duos of all-time. Very few duo dynamics in contemporary fiction succeeded in engaging me the way that they did. When I began watching the pilot for the first time, seeing the impeccable way in which Bitty and Tony played off each other in this opening scene reeled me into the show *immediately;* and despite not thinking I would even enjoy this show at first, I was absolutely hooked on the interplay between these two. Their chemistry is just hysterical. LOVE them.

Adrian matured more than Shawn. This is why i will always prefer Monk to Psych. Within psych there is no character development, whereas with all the character's in Monk everyone went through character development

No matter how many times I watch the first scene, Sharona's face at 2:15 absolutely puts me in stitches every single time. 🤣🤣 Bitty Schram's expressions are pure comedy.

Really loved the detail about waking up with the powerful light of the sun. It makes think about it's a new life for him: brighter❤ Also, about the change of his outfit: he still wears brown clothes but he doesn't wear his jackets anymore. I think the jacket was like a "shell" and now he can walking through the life more comfy. The final episode is always so moving for me cause Monk was able to overcome himself because of amazing friends who believed in him, supported him and always trying to be by his side understanding all his behaviors ❤

Is anyone gonna mention how Stottlemeyer must have had to get used to Randy not being there?😢 there must have been moments when Stottlemeyer was working and absentmindedly called out, "Randy, can you hand me that report?" Only to look up and realize Randy was in New Jersey. I bet Stottlemeyer would then sigh and tell himself to not get emotional 😢

Wasn't big fan of monk on ion when it was on ion television but I like Tony Shalhoub in Galaxy quest he hella funny I always wonder how Tony Shalhoub would of done in shows like law and order NCIS cold case without a trace especially criminal minds if Joe Montana didn't join the cast🤔🤨
