Thank you so much for that last question/answer. It’s great to hear the actual experience of when first faced with the very long meditation sessions, and what goes through one’s mind and body in that process.

Thank you so much for your insight on boredom. I never thought of the relationship between boredom and entertainment as a infinite feedback loop of trying to satiate the insatiable, and therefore strengthening the suffering that desires bring. From now on (with varying success I'm sure), I'm going to try to breathe and observe these negative emotions manifesting in my body through my day to day life. For me I definitely feel it as a heaviness in my stomach and as a hurricane in my brain, but hopefully I can minimize it with mindfulness. Again thank you for your insight. It's always a pleasure to hear from you. Peace and love.

I sit straight on the floor as well, but I sit in a sort of froggy position, knees forward feet backwards, I can sit like that for hours! (Everyone told me sitting like that would rot my knees and such and yet I'm 1 of the few people my age without knee issues so I'm good!) Oh the rest of the video was lovely as well!

Your new friend is delightful! She really really likes you too and you, she, its lovely to watch. I understand what you explained about Goenka, its just that Samatha is not practiced and these people believe they are practising Buddhism🙏

I found this video very helpful in clarifying Kamma. It also now makes sense to me why my teacher ignored an email a sent after a retreat I completed. I tried using an extreme example, such as people subject to the concentration camps and if they in effect deserved their suffering because of previous actions. But like you explained, the Buddha never answered such questions. Thank you 🙏

idea: I have not seen a video showing/instructing how to stand up properly as a monk, not that we are monks, however, it seems like a great life skill! Sabbe Satta Sukhi Hontu

Actually online are some very good participants these days, IMHO. Most of the best are quoting Sutta in context, transliterations of talks by Thanissaro Bikkhu and so forth. This is my experience. Sabbe Satta Sukhi Hontu.

I do have a technical suggestion, if you don’t mind. I originally saw the title and wanted to specifically watch the part of the video relating to it. But I obviously had to watch the whole video in order to find it. Is there any chance you could segment the video out, giving each question it’s own section on the video, so people can skim through to the ones that interest them most? Thank you. 🙏

KZbin do this automatically but it takes a while. If you watch the older videos you'll see. I don't do any preparation, post production or editing, what you see is as it is. Be happy and stay well. Glad you watched the whole video because many of the questions are related. Be happy and stay well
