Exactly. You would *think* that there would be a DC port of Monkey Ball (especially since the Dreamcast was a home NAOMI) but it never happened, probably because this came out too late in the DC's life (2001). But even then I beg to differ because Sega released its last official DC game in 2004 (Puyo Puyo Fever). My theory is they probably intended to release Monkey Ball on DC but then 'upgraded' to GameCube, added a few things, and released Super Monkey Ball as a GC launch title.

@@chowmein0941 The Atomiswave is closer to an arcade Dreamcast than the Naomi. The Naomi and Naomi 2 are closer to a Dreamcast mid gen upgrade, and Dreamcast 2.

The graphics may not be as detailed in this version, but I think the simpler aesthetics work in its favor. It looks a lot cleaner and more appealing to look at IMO.

Nice playing on the Classic edition of Super Monkey ball, the Console versions have a different voice over but mostly the same game overall. Unlucky not to get the bonus 3 floors for no lives lost.

You know, those stages appear unused in the gamecube version. Same for the diffculty select models. But the stages in the sky background have no music.
