Tomorrow, I am going to make follow-up phone calls to the Vietnamese Embassy and Consulate in the USA and also the Jane Goodall Foundation in the USA. KZbin is excellent on keeping us updated, but WE are the ones who need to take action. Looks like this tragic matter will not be resolved quickly. Heavy internatiinal action is needed to put pressure on ENV and the authorities. We must be persistent!!! Our Kaka, Mit and Puka are suffering greatly. Thank you for continuing to intercede. According to the family, the facility has banned them from visiting. There are some others using videos from the Kaka channel and this situation to increase the viewers to their own channel. One of these people went to the facility and broke the rules against filming and the people in charge are blaming the Kaka family. Monkey bika filmed and posted it and they thought Ngoc was behind it. Do not support those who are taking advantage of this tragic situation.

@user-yw5cd3et4l YES, the family wants Kaka and Mit back. They have four monkeys together at the nature reserve and while we cannot speak about all of them, we do know the circumstances surrounding the case of Kaka and Mit. I realize there are some who have a difficult time knowing what to think at this point, but much about this case has been backed up by the info put out by the ENV. 1. The pigtail Kaka and stump-tail Mit were confiscated because someone made a report about them to the ENV. (Several viewers have admitted responsibility for doing so in the comment section of videos here and on the ENV FB page.) 2. The ENV posted a full account of the original incident as well as a lengthy statement about the ongoing situation to their social media. In their post they blame the family for trying to use their platform to get viewers to help them get their animals returned. (So YES, they want them back) The situation with Puka is different from what happened with Kaka and Mit. He was given up, he was not confiscated. In his case they do not want him returned. That channel never really took off, they posted haphazardly, they are expecting a new baby and decided it was a good time to give him up. He was not the first monkey they had or the first channel they had. I do not know if anyone even knows who the fourth monkey is or anything about that situation, but the ENV has posted about several they have confiscated recently. This family has already had the pigtail longer than most opt to keep them and they just got Mit, there is no reason to think they do not want them. I think some believe they would have got them back if they really wanted them, but that is not accurate or fair. Some viewers get confused by the fact that there are many, many others doing what this family did and they still have their monkeys. I do not think enough viewers understand how things work there and try to see this situation from the point of view of how things work where they live. The country's wildlife rules are clear enough, but they are RARELY enforced and Kaka and Mit would most certainly still be home if someone had not made a report. Citizens are prohibited from possessing wildlife without a permit and they do NOT grant permits for animals from nature to live as pets. The family is at a disadvantage to begin with, because they are legitimately accountable for breaking the rules. There is only so much they can do, especially when you understand the limitations imposed by where they live and the fact that there is NO lawful way to keep these animals as pets.
