As for your comment if Kaka had a voice, EVERYTHING she did in the videos was trained behavior likely based on coercion and control. She didn't run up to him and kiss him because she loved him. He would tap his cheek and she was trained to place her face on his cheek. She did not lay with the child because she loved the child. She laid with the child because she was placed there and told not to move. She did not model dresses, because she loved fashion, but she was put in various outfits and told to walk around. She did not hug Ngoc because she loved him, again she would go to his chest when he tapped his chest to signal to her what he expected and verbal commands were used as well. She did not fetch diapers or put them in the garbage because she wanted a diaper change. She was trained to fetch. She did not walk on two legs because she saw the child doing that. She was trained from a very early age to walk on two legs to get what she needed and to perform as was expected for her. Her situation is not unique and many youtubers who have exploited these animals know what is required to get them to perform. To project human ideology on a wild animal is unfair to her. I don't know of anyone in the human realm who would prefer slavery to emancipation.

If you mean me being a stalker I can assure you that I am a very avid fan of Kaka and have cried, been sad, and have been very angry at the injustice that has been done to precious Kaka. The forest monkeys don’t come to the picnic area and the forest is too dense for people to go to the monkeys. The caretaker told him that on the second video. The island has 2500 acres. They made a concrete sidewalk half way around the island on the perimeter. The only way to the island is by boat which arrives and leaves at that picnic area. Pigtails observed overeating/indulging in an excess of a supplimental food item can indicate the area they are living in has an insufficient supply of natural fruits and can lead to deficiencies and health concerns for the animal. The viewers deserve to know that it is never recommended for monkeys in Kaka's position to be released in a situation like the one we see at the national park. The viewers should understand that Vietnam is different from other countries in that it does not follow the standard recommended guidelines for rehabilitation and release that most other countries follow. It is important to recognize that Kaka would never be released in the way she was here if this same situation were playing out almost anywhere else in the world. There are many, many reasons why releasing monkeys like Kaka is NOT the preferred or recommended way to manage situations involving monkeys who have lived as a pet for as long as Kaka has. It is important to understand that the Vietnamese government does not rehabilitate monkeys before they release them. The country does not follow recommended guidelines and protocols for returning monkeys like Kaka to nature and instead employs a process of "quarantine", "integrate" (get the animal used to eating natural foods and drinking water from nature) and "release". The truth is releasing monkeys who have lived as Kaka did is complicated and the idea that simply taking and releasing the animal will result in a successful outcome does not match what is known. According to those who are experienced with such projects, ill-conceived plans may return animals to nature only to see them fail to adapt to the unfamiliar and/or inappropriate environment. When considering releasing a monkey like Kaka it is important to note that previous re-introductions of these animals have shown that losses are often high and even when time, care and resources are dedicated to such projects, success is not guaranteed. The pigtail Kaka has lived with people for as long as she can remember, she doesn't even remember living in nature and yet some want to say that "the animal can and will transition if she is simply left alone to her own devices", but beliefs such as those simply do not match what is known. Without any rehabilitation, the pigtail Kaka is likely to continue to seek out people regardless of Ngoc's visits. The national park is a popular tourist site and regularly visited by people. The pigtail Kaka is a people-friendly monkey and previous releases under similar circumstances show that monkeys in her position who were released under similar conditions will continue to associate people with food. While Ngoc follows the rules and does not bring food for Kaka, previous situations show that the general public is less likely to observe the rules and will gladly share their snack or lunch with a people-friendly monkey. There is actually another national park in the country where the monkeys have completely stopped looking for food and are entirely reliant on visitors. There is more to successful reintegration than how a monkey walks and catching grasshoppers. Kaka has not integrated into the group who lives there and still spends the majority of her time in and around the dock area. (The park "guide" or whoever accompanies Ngoc off camera reported as much in two separate videos) The current situation is anything but stable or secure. The fans are right to be concerned and to feel sad about the situation Kaka is in. It is important not to rely solely on what you read in translated content, translations are imperfect and do not always match what is said or the context in which it is intended. I speak and understand basic Vietnamese, but I have read some others use programs to clarify the content.

If you know some way to get the one party communist government of Vietnam to disregard their laws and let Ngoc bring Kaka home, by all means, share your recommendations. You write as though there is some way Ngoc could bring Kaka home, but simply chooses not to do so and that simply is not true. We all love and care about Kaka, but there is no use in directing our disappointment toward Ngoc when there is nothing more he could do to return Kaka beyond what he and the fans have already done. Ngoc already told us that they would like to have Kaka and Mit back home. He told us that they never wanted them to leave their home and they would both still be with Ngoc and the family if not for a viewer or rather the several viewers who discovered their address and made a report. But reports were made and we need to understand that almost every country has laws/regulations regarding keeping animals from nature as pets, even if most are not interested in looking for people who do so and only enforce them when someone makes a fuss. Vietnam is not unique in that way. Ngoc explained that even though people do so, they are not allowed to keep monkeys as pets. I live in the US and the same thing would happen in my country if someone was reported to be keeping an animal from nature as a pet and the outcome would be similar to what it is here. This is the first time we have seen a KZbin family have their pet monkey taken away, but it is not as unusual as it seems. The ENV often responds to reports and confiscates animals who originate from nature and live as pets. It is important to understand that almost all the others who are doing what this family was doing would end up in the same position if someone makes a report. People who live there are not allowed to keep monkeys as pets even if they do so anyway and the government will take them away if they are reported to have them. It is important for the viewers to understand that if it was simply a matter of moving, paying a fee, or even refraining from filming, the family would do it, but it is not that simple. If a license or document was available, they would get one, but there isn't. Ngoc and the fans worked hard to return Kaka and Mit after they were taken away, but the efforts were rejected and the pleas fell on deaf ears. Kaka and Mit were transferred into state custody and mandated to be released in accordance with the country's established policy in such cases. Ngoc spoke truthfully when he told us the situation is out of his hands and he cannot return them home. Vietnam is not a democracy and those who live there do not have the same freedoms some others have where they live. The freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to a healthy environment are severely restricted. There is NO process available for citizens there to oppose, protest or even litigate against Vietnamese law or official mandates. If there was ANY way for Ngoc to bring Kaka home, Ngoc would have continued fighting for it indefinitely, but as it is, Ngoc can't even visit, film or discuss Kaka and Mit without approval to do so. The situation is sad and we all wish for a different outcome, but none wished for one more so than the family.

In vietnam, you can see for yourself, there are so many domesticated pet monkeys (like Cutis and Cubis) raised by the legal owners that obtained a legal monkeys licensing requirements by ENV has been approved without any issues. In vietnam, many owners legally obtained a legal licensing as a requirement from the ENV are welcome (allow) to raise monkeys as a domesticated pets in their home town and country sites. What are you trying to proof without accurate justification.

Ngoc's aim is to make money...I always thought he was genuinely interested in Kaka's welfare, and so, he was undergoing all the hardships to trace Kaka in the thick forest. However, now (after being banned by ENV) it's very clear that he is trying to make business out of the old videos; posting again and again the same videos with new titles. Well, If he is genuinely interested in Kaka's welfare, he should let go, obey the laws of the country, and give up on Kaka. HE IS JUST TRYING TO MAKE MONEY ON THE OLD VIDEOS.
