Monkey Man | Kid's Epic Ring Showdown (Dev Patel) 2047pm 19.10.24 i was just thinking: i need to go the cinema... i saw this when it came to rochdale. a decent film, actually... a bit brash re: the Americanisms where the violence is concerned.... i wanted a more literal rendition of the myth, though... as i like the weird and wonderful in cinema... anyhow; the mobster lady and her cohorts getting their comeuppance was quite the relief...

​@@xcaliber302- Historically, it did. As far as recorded, documented martial arts. Also stated by records in other countries. I wasnt there. Were there other fighting styles before this? Of course. I would imagine it depends on what is considered as "Martial Arts". That's not my department. I was just stating a widely accepted opinion, presented as fact. Although, at the very least, we can probably say that formal structured "Wrestling" has probably been around longer than other forms and it's origins probably lay elswhere.
