God this trailer...whoever was the lead editor on this deserves the biggest raise imaginable. I use to be an editor for commercial work when I was younger. I always wanted to edit trailers like movies and junk. Editors do not get enough praise. His body of work speaks for itself, this is pretty mich the only film I'd consider going to the cinema for this year. Dev is the man and its just the positive buzz I needed to see him doing his entirely own thing. Good on Jordan for recognising the pure talent of the man. I am sure his place in film history is already sealed and deservedly so. I'm sure this will be one of those films that the next generation talk about as if it was "his first big thing..have you seen it etc.." I don't know why I know but I do, he'll be in high demand as a director and actor for years to come...he'll probably have to turn down bond...unless he gets to direct. Let's get a movement going Dev Patel = James Bond ( but he has full creative freedom and final cut) but to be honest I think he could do sex and city and it'd still be a masterpiece. The man is way and above almost anyone still working today. So happy to see him direct and write.
