Monkey shoulder scotch review

True story: Years ago, I had 6 of my friends an me bring a bottle of single malt scotch to a friends house for a blind tasting. We did not know this but one of my friends who has short arms and deep pockets did not bring a single malt (most of us had spent around $100) he brought Monkey Shoulder. Monkey Shoulder scored 2nd.

Just tried Monkey Shoulder the other day, not sure why I haven't sooner. It's tasty. I'm very happy with my purchase. Especially at it's price point. Where I live (Canada), everything is super-expensive. I paid 42 CAD for this baby. Totally got my money's worth. And for me, Monkey Shoulder was a great "gate-way" from Irish whiskey to scotch, as the taste profile is fruity and not peaty at all for a scotch. The nose...awesome! I LOVE fruity whiskies. A very strong budget scotch. Impressive actually. I agree with your review wholeheartedly @Whiskey Hideaway. Keep it up brother! +LIKE +SUBSCRIBER
