Sorry you had to do a voiceover instead of chatting on video 😂 I love the painting though, that orange paint pen is so nice! I'm so tempted to try out paint pens, I feel like it would really change my process though so a big learning curve. Really interesting to hear your thoughts on the Posca pencils! When I tested them it was just as pencils on paper so it's good to hear how they work on paint!

They are very fun katie! I have found that I choose them over the gouache now. I think it’s because you can work so fast with them and they are nice and chunky.

These look perfectly lovely, and I just have to remind myself : it's just a great video effect - you know when something regular, a thing you totally already own, just in a different version, makes you go :wow😍, what an unusual gorgeous thing, I have to have it! Yeah, I definitely need to remind myself that I do in fact already own a very good, gorgeous custom selection of colored pencils😁 ehhh... art supplies are always tempting🙄😋😉

That pink pencil is gorgeous. I don't know why but I find it really hard to get a proper pink shade in colouring pencils. They're often too lilac-y, peachy or magenta-y, but this one is beautiful! I was thinking as well how creamy they look like they feel just as you were saying it. I have also never seen those Liquitex paint markers! They're massive! They look really cool though; such a shame delivery costs from the UK are so high cos you're really making me want to splurge. XD Once again, your illustrations are just gorgeous! The textures really get me; they're so tasty looking. XD Beautiful work!

I really love the salmon/peach pinks rather than the redder pinks. The liquitex pens are really cool! I also have some molotow pens and they are nice. You can get about 4 different sizes in the paint pens I think and these are the biggest.

Could you make a comparison of the posca pencils and the caran d'ache luminance pencils, especially for going over mixed media? :)

I can try one day. I did a video years ago with pencil comparison but that was before I had either of those brands. So it could be a fun one! I’ll put it on the list.

I love your video 💕 I. have a few of them from an art box. I like them. When you were holding one of the pencils I thought saw the word Peach next to the brand name, but it turned out to say Posca 😂 I need new glasses
