Brother you should seriously consider purchasing that 4runner. 4runners bring in all the money especially during tax season. If you can buy it on the cheap, you'll make thousands in profit. In my area the 2016 with over 100K miles sells for over 23K.

Only issue is that rear axle is a one piece drive system so axle and stableizer bar is tied into rear drive shaft and subframe so not a cheap repair

Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. The 2016 Toyota Rav4 is a good looking SUV with a little bit of damage to the drivers side rear end. The 2024 Chevrolet Trax is a good looking SUV even though it's got a little front end damage.

It has a one piece rear axle... I think it may take a little more work than you're anticipating. No way that 4 Runner would ever drive straight again.

Trax has a wet timing belt. Difficult to change. Won’t go the distance without lots of care. The belt is bathed in old and deteriiorates and clogs the oil pickup tube and starves the engine of oil. Should have gotten a timing chain 4 cylinder with proven technology.

After you remove those purple items and panther it'll look tremendous. The body damage looks worse than it really is, keeping prospective buyers away. Those replacement 4runner panel/body parts are widely available and reasonably priced. 4runners bring in all the money and then some, especially during tax season where people eagerly and foolishly overpay for vehicles. Definitely there's lots of money to be made off that 4runner.

That's a fact man the 1.4 turbo is also used in the Buick encore. This engine is a Korean motor design if I am correct and it has issues with timing cover and oil pan leaks especially where to meet at the front of the motor which you have to replace anyway when servicing the timing chain. They do run a little loud and these engines were made as a throw away in my opinion because it's just as easy to replace the whole thing than service it which a lot of mechanics don't want to touch it unless it's just to change the oil and such. Sorry I ran on about it but I would run from that one Mike. 🤠
