Nice truck. That one panel beside the ashtray should open as a cup holder. Probably stuck from spilled coffee. That hook on the dash is a grocery bag hook. Good score!

Nice pickup! These are very capable tow rigs, I hauled a f250 8 hours with a ram just like this. You might consider trying to put a set of seats in from a 2010-2018 ram, they bolt right in. I bet you can save that bumper cover too, either fix or replace the underneath metal structure.

I'd do plugs and wires, flush the trans and change the filter, do your rear diff fluids, service the transfer case fluids, flush and change the brake fluid, and lastly for this truck especially. FLUSH THE COOLANT AND CHANGE IT. Especially for this generation, stay on top of it. You do all of these things? That truck will last you a long time. My brother in law used to own one, they are great if you service them.

I have a 2004 but it has the 4.7. As others have said, the drink holders is in that compartment beside the ashtray. Another feature that took me a while to figure out is those cup holders are adjustable to make them fit the drink container. The bad news is that Dodge transmissions are trash. My next one will be a manual transmission.

Quick online check, you got a good deal. Most online are between 130-220K miles and prices go from 4900 to 15K. Long time coming, but it looks like you got a goodun'. You'll do all the requisite work on it I'm confident of that. Make sure you do a coolant flush on her Mike. You should also be able to do well at the pull apart and make that truck look good all over! I know the first thing you're probably going to do is wash it...I don't know why you do that before you work on it, but you always do. Good job Mike!

Congrats on the Tow Vehicle Rig/Truck. You picked a good one. All the body panels in the front can be sourced from the junkyard or maybe even at the Dodge/Ram Dealers parts departments? Change all fluids to include the radiator coolant and differential(s). I think your tow hitch is missing a few parts? Congratulations Mike you really need it those parts like you said are easy to find maybe buy a Car dolly U-Haul sell them for around a $1,000 used I seen them in my area in different condition . My trucks I use them from all sorts of stuff get a used Camper Shell to may not be right color but can at least lock tools or things or just a ger a toolbox maybe sliding one that fit the length of your bed . So many possibilities

I have one Mike, they are good trucks , just make sure you change the oil every 3 thousand miles.i use mine for towing also, it can actually haul 8500 pounds legally .mine is a 07. bought it back in 2012, it also had been in accident. i bought it with 28 k on the clock.

Congrats! Do a fluid flush on all the fluids! Coolant, Brake, front/rear diff, transfer case, transmission and power steering At that mileage should have been done but, I doubt it. Check universals etc.

Congratulations! The Dixie Custom badge might be because it was a special order. A single cab with the cloth interior and hemi were not that common. Most single cabs were work trucks with the vinyl interior and a V-6.

Good deal, up here in the rustbelt, the body would be swiss cheese. In fact there was just a low mile 04 ex cab near me for 4000, the body was half gone but had a mint leather interior.
