Honestly Mike, you got a pretty nice truck for the year. All cleaned up in my area would be worth 4590-5 all day long. Those fender flares you could just take them off. They only cause rust but to each their own.

The truck in that condition is anywhere here $1,500 - $2,500. You can get brand new headlights for $60.00. A set of fender flares for $60. Also new chrome grille for the same price. All on EvilBay. They had a silver hood but, pickup at location only (PA)

Haha, you did another take, and left the first one in, in your badge discussion :-) I'd just get new aftermarket headlights unless you're good at polishing them. A bright set of new headlights is so nice compared to old hazed lights. On that sticky stuff left from the ventshades, I used an eraser wheel and then a paint safe adhesive remover.

That hemi badge was moved because the flares, on the earlier 3rd gens the badges were originally at the lower front corner of the fenders just behing the headlight

Forget Superglue with heavy stuff, use JB Weld instead. When you are banging on a bolt, leave the nut on it, otherwise you mess up the thread. You will need new hood hinges as well. Merry Christmas!!

I have a 06 that was hit just about identical. It was low on coolant also. The radiator was bad (leaking from the side tanks) looks Like I can see it a little in your video. Just get an all aluminum one. Never have to worry about cracked tanks again.

I had a 2002 dodge ram and loved it just recently got a 1998 dodge ram sport 4 x 4, one owner hundred thousand miles mint condition nine out of 10 with a tow package and trans cooler I’m dressing it up already😊

SRT hood or look at the Rumble Bee hoods, I love those too.. I love the short box, single cab 4x4...It's worth the work to make it nice look at restored trucks like the prices are going up . I know you're not doing a restoration but nonetheless .. Hope it comes together and works reliably. I had a 2003 for 10 years and put 160,000 miles no major issues .. My 2013 RAM 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 Hemi had 275,000 miles (where did I go lol) ...No major issues meaning no engine work or trans or diff work..Waterpump, radiator, alternator and regular tune ups oil changes.. My 2023 same configuration as the 2013 again, new so no issues at all... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The truck is looking good. If you need some color match parts let me know and I will be glad to look at my local pull a part places for you. They make a special thin wall socket for wheels like that. My C6 has them. You could also grind down a regular socket till it fits.

You're planning to tow with it, right? beefier suspension is your friend (all the way around, really. ).

Replace the hood, and front bumper, then do a new coolant temp sensor, spray in bed liner, sony single din stereo and kicker speakers, flowmaster muffler
