If I were him, I'd continue playing my game wholeheartedly till the end of my contract, then never renew it and go elsewhere. As things stand now, he is in the wrong. He signed a contract, which the club is honouring by paying him what was agreed and signed on. This type of attitude may even shut doors against him out there. What club will take a player who signs on a contract and then later on reneges on it by way of blackmailing his current club! If you don't raise my fees, I ain't gonna play to the best of my ability! A contract must be honoured. No one was forced into signing on it.

Well no actually pirates has a history of freezing out their best players when they want new contracts . The examples are many Teko , Lorch , Saleng . The club is known for being cheap amongst players

The Club should either PAY Saleng the money he deserves or they must let him go play in UAE and be a millionaire because they pay him peanuts compared to what he’s worth on the open market . Also us as fans should be very observant and watch the past because it is repeating itself, remember how Teko left ,Ace Manyisa,Thembinkosi Lorch . The clubs is not the best employer for players and we must realise that.

A decision needs to be taken at least as fans we should know what to expect. Theses speculation of salary disagreement, or personal family problems is not doing us any good. If they do t want him allow the man to leave, but I wont lie it would be a huge motivation for the team if he was to lay and extend his contract

Management doesn’t want to give him a contact extension on better financial terms Saleng earns R70000 per month while other players in the team earn way more than him and they don’t bring as much value . Miguel Timm earns R150000 , Maela earns R150000 , Lepasa earn a little bit more than R150000, Evidence Makgopa earns R200000. Saleng is more important to the team then all of them and he earns less than them

We as fans should understand that Saleng isn’t even in the top 10 best paid players at the club and he’s definitely deserving of more money but the club is cheap , he has an offer in Dubai at Al Hilal apparently he might get R1,2 Million a month there and pirates only pays him R70000 when he could be earning R400000 like other players his level in the country.

One thing that I've noticed with our useless, selfish & arrogant management is that whenever a key Pirates player's contract is about to run out, they really don't care as to put a better offer on the table for them. But instead of offering the better & improved offer they rather let them go. What a stupid arrogant management that Pirates has @ their disposal all they know is just to exploit poor players. How I wish the I e & only Zodwa Khoza was still alive cause she was the only one who used to listen to our grievances & pass them to our useless manager.

@@albanyjerrythat same management is the reason we don’t win league titles , the season we lost the league by one game they were supposed to improve but they didn’t they brought Wayne Sandilands and we dropped places on the table . Two seasons ago when Saleng won player of the year we wanted Lorch to get a new contract so we can challenge Sundowns the next year they sold him to downs for a small amount . You have a bird brain if you think the management is competent they are good scouts at best horrible team management. Our coach can start negotiating with other teams now and hasn’t fixed his family members visas , we wanted Stephan Aziz Ki last in September and they were being too cheap to pay his signing bonus , it’s dysfunctional and your blind faith can’t see it
