He seems to be a humble and down to earth type of Coach. Who knows what he wants and believes in his principals. I would describe him as a friendly dictator. 🙃If you do what he expects you to do you are fine. If he feels you try your best he will support you. If he can sense you want to be better he will help you achive it. If you give it all in training you will get a chance to play. Might be only couple minutes here and there for the young players. He will reward hard work one way or another. But if you start to fuk around he will kick your a$$. And im kinda sure to him it doesnt matter who they are. He simply dont care if its a young unexperienced talent or a senior one. He will let them know that its not acceptable how they behave. But what i realy like is his overall attitude. Poch always said we have to have patience. The squad lacks experience. They have to learn this and that. We cant expect this nor that. Fuk that BS! Believe in your players. Believe in their abilities. Believe they will only get better day by day. Teach them to trust themselfs. Believe in their own abilities. On their day this squad can beat ANY team in the world. We have the players. We have the quality. Heck even Sanchez had good performances in goal. If he can bring his "current A Game" as his new average performance. Im fine with it. Its not the worst goalkeeping. Sanchez(GK) - Cucurella(LB) - Colwill(LCB) - Tosin/Fofana(RCB) - Reece(RB) - Caicedo(6/DM/CM) - Enzo(Deepline Playmaker 6/8) - KDH(box to box/support for left side) - Palmer(RW/10) - Nkunku(10/LW/2nd Striker) Jackson(or a new signed Mainstriker). Thats a pretty solid starting 11 imo. With lots and lots of great options on the bench. Petrovic, Disasi, Badiashile, Gusto, Chilwell, Lavia, Santos, Carney, Mudryk, Sterling, Noni and a Sstriker. You can play those in early conference league as your starting 11 without major problems. Thats how good/strong our 2nd options in each positions are. Its not like we desperately need major squad improvments in terms of signings. Develop what we got. Improve their quality further. We are more then capable of getting Top4.

A bit harsh to say nobody improved. Gallagher obviously had a decent season. Cucu also ended up being quite decent once Poch stopped trying to use him as a wingback. Caicedo ended the season on a very strong note. Jackson 2024 was certainly a better player than a year before. And Cole Palmer, having a higher G+A than Eden Hazard... I don't think 2024 Madueke is worse than 2023 Madueke. Also Gusto. Holy cow, Gusto. The downsides, in my opinion, were mainly only the centerbacks, the goalkeepers, the left wingers, and Enzo. And all the injured people. And the tactics being a bit crap. And the lack of identity. And the lack of serious prospects for improvement. Also kind of bad that Caicedo apparently had to hire his own coach to do video reviews for him. Anyway, what I liked was the fact that he didn't just go on about "his style" at Leicester being the only variable. New chapter, new squad, new club. Different players that aren't necessarily optimized the same way it was done at Leicester. Also stressing that while he knows the players from watching a lot of video, it really does matter to get to know them as people, as human beings. What I take from that is that he wants to play how he wants to play, he's not going to change the fundamentals, but how he goes about it will be based on the players and not just an abstract ideo of how football should be played, like what Sarri did a few years back. Very encouraging, IMO.

Cucu was being deployed wrong by Poch by your own admission, that's hindering him not improving him. Caicedo was far better at Brighton than he was under Poch, he didn't improve. Jackson I can see an argument for, but there's not really anything to compare him to because he never played a full season in La Liga. Palmer was a hidden gem, and was already a Champion's League winner. He was already that good imo, but noone had taken a chance on him yet. Besides, it's called hyperbole

If you're a realistic fan, you knew this is not going to be easy. We're trying to complete the quickest rebuild in sports history. We moved out like 14-15 first team players and replaced them. Of course it's not easy. Unfortunately a lot of the fanbase still believe in the old Roman spending players like Lukaku, Kepa and many more. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. We need to be patient simple as that.
