i think nigility and preservation are the best ways to pass sd5. u with preservation only need fire gg march and clara or another tank and u r indestructible. the hardest are elation and hunt. i cant pass w them still

Nihility MVP is always that 1.0% healing everytime enemy take dots dmg, while Remembrance is always that Dissociation , I combined both Path and then gets the Curio that gives the enemy Weaknesses according to your element for 3 turns and slaps.

So glad to see Luka get some use, I know I mentioned it in a previous video, but I feel like he's definitely pretty ignored in terms of his power when it comes to break vs. phy weak enemies, he absolutely shreds them and is fantastic in any fight with fewer enemies, but especially those with phy weakness.

Luka's sole weakness is simply that very little relevant content happens to be Physical-weak right now, probably because the developers know full well that Bleed is inherently very powerful due to the max HP scaling. You can get around that weakness to a limited extent by using Silver Wolf, but she's a limited unit and there's only one of her that might need to be elsewhere for MoC purposes. Once Physical weaknesses become more common we'll start seeing more of his full potential.

Crazy part is, with the latest patch (1.5) a new artifact set and ornament set made specifically for DoT damage released. They are now the best in slot for ALL of them

The first time I cleared swarm disaster was with Gepard , Luocha , Sampo and Kafka but seeing you beat it with just nihility characters and no sustain units makes me wanna build Luka now. Currently finishing Guinaifen because relics😅😅😅

i would check jamiekb9v's video to be sure but i think so - plus once you get more superimpositions it can get as close to 2-3% less than s1 before dawn (her best option) so it's a good investment choice!

That's cool! I play mostly on nihility path when it comes to simulated universe but I wasn't able to finish the Swarm Disaster 5 with it (got with Preservation after Fu Xuan) at the time and never tried again. My stats are not that different from yours but I'm still testing with Luka. At first I was running him with ATK and recently changed for Break Effect, but I'm not that happy with it and might change back to ATK. But farming relics is a pain, even with the double event.

U might wanna try this again when the leaked relic set for DoT is released. It might be next version, i think. The last time i looked at it, it was: 2pc atttack by 12% and 4pc 6% Def ignore for each dot on the enemy with a max of 3 stacks

If you can squeeze spilt dmg/ fighting spirit on hit destruction perks. As well as the reduced enemy atk per suspicion/spread stacks on kill. Your looking at a stupid heavy sustain on top of nihilities other benefits.

I beat swarm disaster 5 for the first time with nihility path but I used fu xuan and luocha instead of sampo and luka. I didn't want to chance the sustain. Also they both helped with weakness break.

I've been playing since release and still don't understand what Dot is, since i don't have any characters or use character with that skill, so in this video it just applied there in enemy and its uses like anemo swirl / elemental absorption??

No. Dots are "dmg over time" So anything that does dmg per turn. Bleed, burn, shock and wind shear all are dmg over time. Once applied, they last for a set turn duration. Entanglement is technically as well but isn't proc'd by kafka ult. Enemy can also hit you with these dots as well. Nihility su path makes dots tick (hit without being consumed), heal/energy per tick, and various other debuffs making the enemy hit like a noodle and eat a crap load of dmg at the beginning of their turn.

Say, would 4 DoT chars inflict greater damage on a boss in one turn or 3 DoT chars with Pela? I'm curious how her Def debuff and buff removal work in that situation. Though they would all be paper thin to break through anyway.. So how about 3 DoTs and 1 healer vs 2 DoTs 1 Pela 1 healer for a normal team? Because I'm thinking who I should build next, Pela or Luka.
