Forgot to even ask during the video, but what's your appetite for Chalice of the void decks? This is the 5th Chalice deck I've showcased and I want to make sure people aren't burning out lol. If you can believe it, I still have ideas for many more Chalice decks

TBH I love chalice but I only play historic (and some brawl) so....

@@donttoywithfloris Have you tried playing Chalice in Historic? It will be a little more difficult to leverage it there than in Timeless, but I bet there's a way (I don't know the Historic metagame though).

@@priorityholder I'm currently really enjoying an Eldrazi deck. Admittedly, Chalice is in the sideboard if you can believe that. The deck plays interaction in the form of Mycospawn, Thought-Knot and Devourer. Chalice comes in game 2 with any fast cheap-mana decks, which is mostly energy and wizards (in historic). Also, it matters to play BO3 because BO1 decks are generally more one-trick-pony type of decks, where it feels like a toss of a coin usually (who plays first?).

The Jund Lurrus deck was so annoyed by that Chalice on 1, you could definitely tell because he had just kept hovering over it lmfao.

Yep, and that tasty anguish is why I can't quit Chalice-ing people lol. My best Chalice moment ever (which unfortunately didn't make it on video) was with a different deck that got Chalice X=1, X=2, AND X=3 out against Mono Red by turn 4 haha

Good question! So Blood Moon is banned in Historic, but not in Timeless. In fact, no cards are banned in Timeless and only 3 are restricted!
