Mono shurima was just the deck I was looking to play. I love decks that use your health as a resource. And when played well against a good number of match-ups you'll be left with single digits health, followed by an unbreakable wall that leads to the win.

Gosh I wish Nasus had more synergy within Shurima, like the only way to get proper slays is relying on vulnerable, which is Renekton's synergy, there are ways to summon sand soldiers for Azir, and Nasus has like 5 cards that go well with him...

But slay is easy to do like you just need to kill something and you don't need vulnerable to slay.... heck spirit fire will give plus +4 slay most of the time and I'm pretty sure Every Shurima have around the same amount of card that made for them Example Azir:arise,dune keeper, emperor dais, inspiring marshal, emperor's divide, desert wrath,sandswept tome and sand crafter for 8 total Renekton: rolling sand, unraveled earth,rock hopper, exhaust, ruthless predator and baccai sandspinner for total of 6 Nasus:rite of calling, ricochet, boomerang blade, spirit fire, sandswept tome, sanctum coservator, baccai sandspinner, weight of judgement, rampaging baccai, siphoning strike,rite of dominance, exhaust,dune keeper, rock hopper, rite of negation, ruthless predator, unworthy and that already 18 card that work well with Nasus because he only need sure way to kill something even his own unit

Just had the most intense game of my life playing deep vs mono shurima, early on it was nothing special, but when he restored the sun disk and i went deep with 3 slaughter docks on board was where things got interesting, later on both of us were in an akward situation, i killed all of his azirs and renektons because of the treasures from double shipwreck hoarder and vengeance while i had one Nautilus on board and my last card in my deck being my last nautilus, so i was forced to use it every round to stop myself from milling, at that point my opponent had 3 cards left, but every time i used my spell, i gave him a card, so i kept recalling back one of his when I'm summoned, draw a card units yo try and see if they misplayed, it was almost a tie until the point where he did misplay It was fun

I had a match two weeks ago against a Mono Shurima user and I was playing with lurkers as usual and he almost got me.At one point,when I first played my Jaull-Fish,he used that spell which can counter all of the opponent's skills and spells(I'm still a beginner at this game so that's why I didn't predict that move from him) and then I was like "I will definitely lose!".After that,I managed to somehow stay alive and have enough lurkers on the board to overwhelm him at the end.He needed one more blocker,but I attacked him immediately and he couldn't do anything.Still,I think your match was more intense than mine.

As someone who has played like 500 games of mono-shurima, the champion selection I like is 3 renekton, 2 nasus, 1 azir. Using vulnerable cards with renekton gives you a lot more removal early game, and when combined with 2 copies of siphoning strike you can very quickly level up both him and nasus. The azir is just a fall back card to use against deck-removal match ups, shrooms, and is another way to advanced your sun disc in a pinch.

Hey hey grapplr, since you love meme decks i feel like i have to suggest you to build one of the most meme decks - and that's the PREDICT NON-MONO ASCENDED DECK with ionia and shurima (9 denies bro...jk that sounds terrible xd), but using the predict mechanic you could find the sun disc in your deck and with the monastery of hirana or other recall cards you could summon the 3-mana shuriman drop which advances the disc with 3 rounds, in ionia you can level up azir very quickly and you can use predict on your imperaror deck to pick the right card and win with it, i've tried it and lost like 90% of the games i played with it xd, but pulling out a combo that hard and winning with it feels amazing so if you're reading this comment you should probably give it a try
