Mono - Yearning

This is in my opinion Mono's best song, but I haven't found a good quality sample of Yearning on youtube, just live shows, recorded with bad cameras.
It's only the music what matters. And it's actually one of the best, if not the BEST song I've heard in my life. During a concert, I was shivering for 2 minutes while listening to this song... the ship (A38 concert ship in Budapest, Hungary) was shaking under our feet, I was standing there with closed eyes... 2 minutes of all-body shivering. (during the mind-blowing part of the song from around 7:30) Best music experience of my life.

It's a terrible shame that bands like this go unnoticed while every living soul on the planet has heard of Katy Perry/Lady Gag/Usher/whoever else is knwon the world round and doesn't posess a shred of talent opposed to a band like this.

I saw these guys open for High on Fire years ago. I remember this was the song they played first and when the loud part kicked in....it was like my sense of self was completely destroyed. All that existed in that moment was this amazing piece of art. I have never been so blown away by a live performance, and listening to this tonight brings a tear to my eye.

You are right, on cd they sound like they don't freak out hard enough, but trust me, they are absolute total destruction live. Never have I felt musical atomic explosions like during a Mono show. I saw them twice in 2006... not sure how they are live right now, but back then... wooooooow

That's exactly what it does. It makes you feel so empty inside, thinking of all the things you love going away, turning to nothing. But all at the same time it makes you live life like you've never lived before, it makes you feel like nothing ever has. Full of energy nothing else can give you. And when you're left with nothing, it makes things just a little bit better in the end because this music helps you think, at least this music is left to love. No one can take that away.

- I just stumbled on Mono through the likes of an unknown person on Facebook... - typed in Mono to listen to their music... - hit on this video as the 2nd video bc the picture seem so gloomy and peaceful at the same time. - readed the comment by simiic2g: "7:32 blew me"... and so I plugged in my earphone before the song hit 7:32 and indeed... It blew my mind in an epic way!... - Instead of a wasted rainy sunday, it is the sunday of one of the greatest song of all... LIFE IS GOOD!
