Hello, I have one question Do MAOIs permanently block monoamine oxidase? or when I stop taking it, does everything go back to normal?

I searched for that, and MAOIs do not permanently block monoamine oxidase. Their inhibition of the enzyme is reversible once you stop taking the medication, it takes weeks. But I don’t know why in the video she said it cause permanent impairment of receptor

@@minepolz320 The level of tyramine increases as bananas get more ripe. Most fruits follow the same pattern, but bananas and avocados have very high potential tyramine.

@@Meton2526 is safe until it totally spoiled, im already a 1 Year on parnate never had any problem with banana or avocado except they are Rich in tryptophan and having pssd/PFS it case apathy for me
