It's called an almondetto. It's what I have even wearing for about a year. It helps so my clothes don't get holes in them from the shape point of the stilleto. I have never had an issue skiing with long nails.

I think because Fay has extreme length, and she’s not a very experienced skier, she’s worried that if she falls that her nails will break and rip her natural nail off or something 😭😂🤦🏼‍♀️ plus, wearing very long nails with ski gloves doesn’t feel great imo. You need bigger gloves to accommodate the nail, and then you lose dexterity. I don’t ski but I do heavy gardening 🤓 I wear thick thermal and waterproof garden gloves. When I have very long extensions, they’re uncomfortable because they hit the end of the glove, and I need to use them bigger gloves. It’s much more difficult to use my fingers with too-big gloves on 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

No here in the states we have a lot of chop shops... COVID made it to where all the non licenced people can get good quality products at a decent price. Prior to COVID it was super hard to find them. So individuals can do their own nails and we can have more self taught nail enthusiasts. They still can't charge without a state bored licence.
