Thank you very much for this insightful video! The way you explain everything is very clear and also brief. I’m here because I’m trying to understand how it’s like to have no depth perception, but after watching this video, I have less idea how that’s even possible. Does having no depth perception means that they can’t see shadows? Parallel lines don’t converge or size doesn’t change with distance? Is it only a short-distance problem? How about driving cars? However, the most curious thing is that they often said that having no depth perception is like looking the world in 2D. Wouldn’t it still be 3D though since you only don’t know how far things are, but can at least know that it is far away (for very far objects like mountains)

Would color be monocular or binocular? I have monocular vision due to strabismus and sometimes things that are brightly colored but are further away can look closer if the object in front is a darker or neutral color?
@PsychExplained6 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t consider color either. These cues are more about depth perception.
@Henok-qn6nc8 ай бұрын
I am actually monocular. only one of my eyes is able to see. it was today that I found out I have been missing much field of vision :( Anyways great explanation sir !
