Monologue - A digital recorded announcement Machine for telephone exchanges

I don't have a lot of information about this equipment, if you have any documentation for it, please let me know in the comments!
Manufactured by Reid Telecom in 1988, this announcer would have been used to inform callers about changes of dialling codes, or numbers that have been changed.
It seems to be portable, so would have been shared amongst several exchanges in the area according to need. This one originally came from an exchange in Bedford.

There are 8x256K ram chips inside (although there are unpopulated slots to take that up to a total 8MB) I should probably do a tour of the insides. It’s a pretty textbook 8082 based system, really robustly designed 😀
