I love oooooo and I’ve been thinking about putting my guitar through it for awhile. This is such a nice use of it. How are you configuring the loops in this session?

@neilmoffat Жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, I had the script set to the delay mode, but the global tempo set to 10. Either that or the tempo was the default 90 but I set the loop lengths short. Either way, a couple of seconds max of delay time with some randomisation of the settings every few bars. I think that's a setting in the "all loops" submenu.

You're welcome. If you do build it, the standard version is much easier than the tiny version. It truly is tiny!

Thank you! The controller is my variation of the Bleached midi controller from the Lines forum: llllllll.co/t/bleached-diy-midi-controller/33786 You can find all the resources to build your own on my Github here: github.com/ramphands/bleachedplusplus

those cables are 💯!!! did you make them???

Yeah they're DIY jobbers. I forget which wire I used (26awg 4 core?) but I used some cheap AliEx "gold" plated connectors, some cotton tubing and a bit of super thick 1:4 white heatshrink. They've stood up really well, happily!
@jaygilligan

@@neilmoffat its the cotton tubing which really sets off the aesthetic! everything looks perfect!

Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool album vibes here.

Oh god that's made my day. Even if it's in the "ugly cousin twice removed" category of comparisons, I'll gladly take it. That album is mindblowing. The little warbly synth melody that comes in halfway through Daydreaming is one of my favourite Radiohead moments ever.

What is that controller with knobs?
@neilmoffat
@neilmoffat Жыл бұрын
That's a DIY controller from a project on the Lines forum. It's my variation of the "Bleached" controller with two extra knobs, named "Bleached++" You can find the files etc on my github here: github.com/ramphands/bleachedplusplus Sadly, Teensy boards are really scarce at the moment.

I like to pretend that I possess intelligence. Bu tit seriously took me a minute to realize what is happening. Now I want to buy a guitar to run through my modular.

Yeah, I've not played their pedals but I've seen the Knobs demos - indeed there are some very similar things going on. Thanks for listening!

Ya keep it up will scribe to you. What norns do you have? Is that the shield? If so what is your honest opinion? Does it get a lot of use or not? I have heard mixed opinions. Some say amazing and some say it has some good scripts but not a lot of useful sound for making tracks, its just fun for noodling? I also wondered what the learning curve is on it as ive read mixed opinions. Thanks and keep it up.
