@@rhdtv2002 It's terrible to think about though. What is scary is that Our Lord say wide is the path..... Saints say few go to heaven. I don't relish anyone being in hell. Our Lady of Fatima said we need to pray for the conversion of sinners. This includes Priests, Bishops and Cardinals. I think it's the only way our Church revolution can be reversed.

The Archdiocese of Chicago produced a VHS video of it. I’m not sure if it was ever digitized. My late friend, a priest of the Order of St. Sulpice in Baltimore, used the copy I gave him for priest’s retreats. You might want to contact the chancery office. That is where I purchased the VHS videos back in 1997.

I was talking with someone about priests being all sickos. One priest changed my life. HIs name is Father Velo. I remember him arriving at St. Angela when I was in first grade, not sure. He wrote his name on the Chalk Board Father VELO then, turned the letters to say Father LOVE. I so so so so so disliked church...every morning at 8 am I think...I know I did not attend mentally and physically....I was a sneaker. During the summer of 1976 I lost my grandfather, he was the world to me. I could not grasp such a loss as a child with parents arguing and families fighting. When school started in fall, many mornings I snuck into St. Angela to light a candle and prayed for my grandfather to come back--my mother was crying all the time and I missed him horribly. Father Velo Saw me one morning. He then would sit down the few mornings I snuck in and talked with me. (I have no recollection of paying or donating but I was known to leave notes in many collection boxes of all sorts.) I asked Father Velo so many questions-- about life and dinosaurs and those starving people we talk about also that I knew there was no Santa....because mean kids always got what they asked for. He said some profound answers that ring true today. I am 100% agnostic; but I have to admit the Catholic religion and St. Angela gave me comfort. Outside that comfort zone, I fell apart. My mom saved my diary I had since age 6, yeah odd reading shit one writes at age 6-13. I looked up Father Velo....hmmm.

I watched this live in 1996 and watch this KZbin video every few months. Still the greatest funeral homily I’ve ever experienced. “Didn’t he teach us? Didn’t he show us the way?” And doesn’t he still? The Seamless Garment. The Consistent Ethic of Life. In this terrible time of trial in the Church, I can only rejoice that the spirit of Cardinal Bernardin lives on in Pope Francis and Cardinal Cupich.
