जुलाई का पहला हफ्ता... मानसून का रंग अभी पूरी तरह जमा भी नहीं है कि पहाड़ी सूबों में बाढ़ ने कहर बरपा दिया है। जगह जगह लैंड स्लाइड से रास्ते थम रहे है। उत्तराखंड में हालात सबसे ज्यादा खराब है. कोटद्वार उत्तरकाशी और टिहरी में नदी नाले उफन रहे है। लैंड स्लाइड के बाद चट्टानें गिरने से दो लोगों की मौत हो गई।

This is direct result of so many cars and vehicles of tourists running on hills plus unchecked construction activities going on in Uttarakhand. If city dwellers nahi sudhrengey toh the people living close to Ganga- Yamuna plains will be wiped out soon. Entire cities are risk of going under like Dwarka.
