It was so nice and relaxed interview with an attentive host. *for those of you who don’t know* here’s a little bit of Monsta x before they became a group. So Monsta X was in a reality show called “No Mercy” (they were not a group just yet) in that show there were 12 trainees but only seven could debut to become Monsta X. A lot of fans even stopped stanning them after watching the reality show after seeing how harsh the show was to the boys and how they acted towards each other, mind you this was a competition so back then the boys did have a lot of drama. The show worked like this.. almost every episode one or two contestants were eliminated (10 episodes in total you can, find them on KZbin) after a while the members started to act like family because they got so close to one another, that’s of course until episode eight when I.M was introduced to the show. So pretty much when I.M entered the show that meant he had a chance to debut as well, taking the spot of another member who could have debuted. After this happened the members thought it was unfair that they had to do about 5 challenges and I.M walked in on challenge 4 (this pretty much meant he just had to empress the judges for 2 episodes when the other contestants were there since the beginning) everyone thought it was unfair and even Jooheon asked I.M if he had an automatic pass to debut. A lot of people had theory’s one of them being he paid the company to debut him. Anyways the boys bullied him so hard and made him feel uncomfortable till he cried. But yea don’t want to give away too much just watch the show and don’t stop stanning cause remember this was roughly four years ago and the members are family now.
