Night View was composed and written by Changkyun, man is truly the king of vibes! My favorite song, weirdly enough, is Sorry I'm not Sorry! An entire album full of bangers and my brain picks the soft acoustic song to obsess over lmao. I also love how petty it is; the song itself is melodic and lovely but the lyrics basically amount to "thanks for nothing, I'm out, never call me again" and I love that for them. Stand Together is the fan song for the album, and, like you said yourself, it was a letter to themselves as much as it was to the fans; it was their way of assuring not just us but also themselves that they're doing just fine and won't be going anywhere. The lyrics to Stand together are especially poignant because their first release after Wonho left was the Fantasia mini album, and it didn't do well at all. From sales to streams and even amongst the fans it wasn't a very well liked album, so there was a lot of chatter about how if MX didn't pull it together and get their numbers up Starship would disband them. And lo and behold, they came back after Fantasia with one of the best albums to come out of Kpop, and, as fans, their was a collective sigh of relief like "ah yes... Monsta X is truly back". Everything about Fatal Love's release was just so perfect, and MX haven't slowed down ever since. I would also recommend to check out the behind the scenes stuff for Fatal Love! This album was when MX started to really put out a lot of BTS content, and there's stuff for the music video shoot, jacket shoot, music show performances, etc. It's always fun to get their thoughts and insight on their work as they make it. As for live performances, the live performance for Nobody Else at GDA 2021 and Sorry I'm Not Sorry on 1theK Originals are a must!

Ending this album with Sorry Not Sorry is actually crazy but genius: Fatal Love is an album that tells a complete story (which a lot of albums don't do anymore). I picture it as a night spent by two people who are having the time of their lives; they're completely wrong and toxic for each other, but nonetheless they spend their time together. They only come to realize their mistakes the next morning; the lyric about floating near the ceiling almost alludes to the fact of your physical body is numb and just going through the motions of leaving the next morning, while your floating self is your true consciousness, or your real feelings and emotions you are detaching yourself from to protect yourself from emotional trauma. Ugh! This album was a masterpiece!

Sorry I'm not Sorry - they performed 3 times i think, one with red suits sitting down (their harmonies were eargasm), another time they were in black suit during a concert i think, hyungwon flipping his hair went viral this time, another time is this video "[2021 KCF] MONSTA X_Sorry I'm Not Sorry" really clear vocals. They performed beastmode many times. And Stand together is a song after beastmode on the album. Imagine u have to listen to those two back to back in this reaction. U wont survive...😁 About stand together, im not sure how true is this, but if i remember correctly, stand together was written earlier when they were having hard times after wonho left, so jooheon wrote this song about standing together with monbebe and also with themselves. Thats why it was more of an angry song instead of a sweet fan song. To me it felt like a pledge that we will stand together stronger. Stand together performance during AAA2020 (search AAA2020) - kihyun officially wrecked me and most monbebe. I became officially full-time monbebe because of stand together (대동단결) performance.

My favorites are Gasoline, Thriller, Guess Who, Nobody Else, Night View, Sorry I’m not Sorry…LOL ❤ Performance wise, Stand Together there are several performances including the No Limit concert. There are a few live performances of Sorry Not Sorry and Night View, like the Mu Talk ones! Nobody Else there is a short Golden Disk performance and they performed it also at the MX University fancon. They also performed short unit versions of Gasoline, Night View, and Last Carnival there. They did the same at the Seoul Music Awards though the sound quality of the fancon is better. Will try to link!

this album's production is so so sooo good its actually insane. every track felt like jumping to another journey. my favourite is Thriller, it really felt like it was a soundtrack for a thriller movie, im so glad i put my headphones on during this track. i could get high with this song with the full volume on blast LOL performances for this album that i like are Sorry Im Not Sorry and Stand Together. theres also a duo performance of kihyun and hyungwon for Night View. and how could I forget THE NOBODY ELSE PERFORMANCE... just, fair warning to that... it involves Water 🤭 all of them are so great. Monsta X is soo great ❤️🔥 I really cant recommend the next album listen enough, Reason. their latest album. Reason and Fantasia X are the only albums you havent listened to that is Post-Wonho (?) I believe theres a shift in the music production after he left, it could be just me (but they still have the MonstaX sound we love, i just cant pinpoint the shift) it would be interesting to hear your thoughts, if you could feel the same way as I did when you get to the albums wonho was in. im rambling now 🤣

We knew it from the start, from the beginning the promotion poster of fatal love was out, this comeback will be something different 🥲 Usually for mini album we'll have that 1 or 2 songs that less shine from the others l, but this full album 😭 each song hits different vibes, and sending us to different dimension. Gasoline : probably this song plan to released for previous album, because the instrumental can be heard on previous trailer for Fantasia 😂 Thriller : just perfect song, the build up, the climax, the thriller vibes, the vocals. Nobody else : first song by Hyungwon Beast mode & stand together : songs by Honey, make me want to stand up and jamming you'll know why on concert dvd Night view : Changkyun's specialty, i really like a lot of his songs Sorry I'm not sorry : i could listen to this song 1 million times because of their slow sad vibes and harmonies

Grateful to Joohoney for making this song is to say the least, he composed it in a very difficult time for the group😢, with all those malicious comments from haters who said that the group was about to die😡, and the slander made Kihyun so bad😔(that's why Changkyun's rap defending his brothers😌). Night View😍 it's soo beautifull and relax song, Changkyun is a genius at composing😌, and literally the song is so atmospheric that it takes you to another place while listening to it. Sorry and i'm no't sorry, It is also a gem, they love to sing it, although they have done it on few occasions. Last Carnival it's a sexy song, and Hyunwong's compositions are always a marvel in the sound mix... :3

My favorite songs on this album are definitely "Thriller" and "Gasoline". All the songs are amazing though. I think my favorite albums are "All about Luv" , "The Connect", and "Fantasia X". Oh, and "Are You There". I love all their music though. There's a song on the album "The Dreaming" called "Whispers in the Dark". I can't wait for you to hear that one. The lyrics are beautiful. There's a video for it but the video has nothing to do with the song. If you watch the video, you won't hear the song cause it's them looking amazing on stage. LOL. It is all in English though so it helps a little bit. LOL.

Last Carnival is my fave song from this album. 🥰 The vibes are like a continuation of Night View but you can feel an end to it then it goes straight to Sorry I'm Not Sorry where they go "I never wanna see you again". The whole album is a love story that talks about fatal love. Literally. ☆☆☆☆☆ - Just a side note for Night View, the one singing the line "Shall we dance on the moonlight" from 8:27 onwards (except for Hyungwon's on 9:04) is Minhyuk, not Jooheon.😊

Stand together is great addition to the "jump and have fun" concert set list along with Falling, Zone and Beastmode (?). It's even better live!
