They are really good since the debut. This is so unfair. Some groups win a lot with shitty songs and concepts just because of their agency. And groups with really good songs, really good singers and dancers stay in the back. I really cheer abot Monsta X success (and some groups in the same position like Seventeen, for example).

it just takes some time... bts were like that too... it took them like about 2 years before they got their first win. They were releasing great songs and were still underrated it actually took them a really long time before koreans got to appreciate their music... For monsta x fans, dont worry too much about them winning what matters is that they keep giving the fans great quality music and that they keep improving. No need to rush. They're still kind of new. This is their 4th title song they are promoting so they are currently in their 3rd comeback after debut 😊 I guess it feels like more because they always do follow up promotions for each promotion cycle so people might confuse Honestly, Hero and Stuck being comebacks too. Though Starship really needs to time their comebacks better because like you said they always get overshadowed 😣 If just talking about comebacks (because follow up promotions naturally have less hype and it's harder to qualify for a win) for Rush they came back in the same week as Red Velvet, for All In the same week as AOA and Fighter the same week as SHINee/Ailee.. 😥

I think it is a matter of time... of course some groups are just really lucky because they're under a big entertaiment but even if you hate it, look how long it take bts to get the spotlight. you have to fight for it and in the future you will see results. just don't stop fighting for what you want! i really like the music monsta x is make, it is idk.. so unique and has its own touch. just keep on helping them for their spotlight. bts needed 3 years. monsta x maybe just 2 years or longer but their time will come. they are just too precious to be ignoried or to be put under the shadow and i also think that is in a way really frustating not to win anything but they can perfom. they can hear the fans and they can do that they love to do: to sing and rap and just spreading their music, communicate on a level, that not everyone can understand. so they still win something from that even though it isn't an award but it is an experience which lasts a whole life :)

Tbh it's kinda shitty. I think physical sales should be more important than digitals, because international fans can't really do well in that case. And Monsta X has DEFINITELY more international fans than korean. Also they sold over 100.000 copies of The Clan pt.1 (during promotions around 70.000), when for example Gfriend sold around 20.000 - 40.000 or smth during their last promotions and they were winning. So, yeah. Monsta X won't win unless they gain more korean fans or intl fans will be streaming properly (which I doubt). But they case is really similar to B.A.P's. And B.A.P were called monster rookies too, haha, and they did tours before their first win ^^ I don't think it's bad though. Also it's kinda weird in korean music industry. Winning shows shouldn't be that important, but nevermind. I know that kpop is in large part fanservice and pretty faces, not songs and live singing... But some groups do it well, bout only a few.
