You should watch Kihyun's performance of the song "Hyeya" on "No Mercy" which is the show that Monsta X started from. It was sooooo amazing. He blew the judges and other contestants away. They all looked like they might cry. So good. ❤

Youth is THE song of my 20s, the lyric and vibe made me bawl for real. I knew he's a stellar vocalist since his first performance as trainee with Hyeya, and although his technique wasn't as polished then, he locked that main vocal position with his raw emotion and delivery tbh. Vocal prowess aside, Kihyun is a perfectionist, has that rough gentleman demeanour and into communicating in English so the pop rock genre fits him like a glove. Oh I was a fan of p!atd and brendon urie too 😂 It's rly nice to see capable vocalists that can carry their own.

we don't call Kihyun the God of Kpop for no reason. The man was born with an extreme talent and was born to be an idol. Also the fact that he still goes to singing lessons shows how much he loves his job, and is always trying to improve for himself and for monbebes.

Kihyun is fluent in English :) he still has some troubles but he really good at it. He learned because he saw changkhyun having to handle all there English stuff and interviews so he learned English so he can help changkhyun so he wasn’t the only one doing it. And now every single one of them know a good amount of English. Changkhyun is has to help with pronunciation or if they can’t think of the right word. Then he helps them out with it. Now with the video we have a saying that monsta x should not cover songs because they willl do it better than the original 😂😂😂 Kiki voice is amazing like his voice can fit anything. I swear. I saw them in concert and even though he was injured and couldn’t really move. He rocked that concert. Natural is my favorite cover he has done. That song is so freaking hard to sing and he nailed it.

Yay!! I’m so glad you did some of his covers and solos! Kihyun is so gorgeous and his smile wins his fans’ hearts! Another good one was mentioned in the last video, A Little Bit Of Love cover. He recorded it at the beach! And, as always, I suggest his group song with Hyungwon and Minhyuk when they covered Myself.

The fact that you love Kihyun and Joohoney just make me remined that thay have a sub-unit, called 2CHAIN, a few years ago they recorded a song called "YOU AND I" and is honestly such a good song, and they sound incredible together, so thats my recommendetion for you. I think you are gonna love it. Also, love your Monsta X reactions, i already watched them all haha

Hearing Youth has always made me teared up 🤧 it's beautiful and also feels bittersweet to me. Seeing new people discovering Monsta X makes me happy, especially Kihyun, because he deserves more recognition. I mean he sings like a God incarnate, so much talents and abilities. Also, be prepared for I.M's new album, it's coming out on April 3rd 😺

OMGGG it's our kiki day. at first IM was the only main one talking in eng and then the rest of the members learnt more and more to be part of the discussion since they dont want to put IM all the time on the spot. It took years but they are mostly fluent now

08:05 haha you are so cute and fun, samee 😂 For Natural, an extremely essential voice is really required, Dan (Imagine Dragons vocalist) is crazy, I personally had not seen or heard anyone do it SO GOOD, BUT Kihyun shut my voice down! that cover is CRAZY, it's amazing how Kihyun can easily adapt to any musical style, I love his voice, I would really LOVE a rock album by Kihyun, and I will leave this world in peace haha Natural and "All of me" by (Michael Bublé), which by the way, Kihyun sang on Lee Mujin's show (I think that's how it's spelled, sorry), are my two FAVORITE Kihyun covers! "All of me" is so MAGESTUOUS!! A cover really at the level of Michael Bublé. You have to see him, that's why I say he can easily adapt to any style, this guy can sing EVERYTHING! Voyager, I feel like has an old school sound and I love it, Youth, on the other hand is just beautiful and the lyrics are nostalgic, it literally has a great message for all ages! ❤ As for individual "solos" of the members Kihyun is more my musical style, his music is not the typical one that many sell, and this is his brand, that's why I love him. He's not my bias, but he is one of my most constant wreckers and I have to say that his smile is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen AHHHH! ❤ Thanks for the reaction, I loved it! You could react to the MV's that the boys made music for dramas, which are called OST's, basically it's the drama's soundtrack =) - Kihyun made the OST for the drama Meow Secret Boy - Spring Again He also made the OST for the drama Melody of Hope - To Be With You and made the OST for the drama Tale Of The Nine Tailed 1938 - Full Moon - Joheeon partnered with Lovelyz and made the OST for the drama Run On - Ride Or Die - There is the song by the group Monsta X which was an OST in the drama Shopping King Louie - The Tiger Moth - Shownu made the OST for the first season of Tale If The Nine Tailed - I'll Be There

I remember how on one of the shows (radio show for naver maybe or something like this with other members) he choose line from Believer as his inspiration for live and motto. It was the line "I'm the master of my sea" and added how he loves and enjoy Imagine Dragon's music

Kihyun's voice is just so stunning. My favourite of his solo songs is Rain, I saw it live and I'll never forget it! Chills! Excited for other solos whenever you get round to it. Please also check out some of Minhyuk's solos, he has some beautiful covers and there is the iconic Ongshimi MV feat Joohoney 😆

Omg a kihyun special reaction😭 He stole my heart the first time I saw his smile! I love all of his songs but youth is such a comfort song, his voice and the lyrics are heartwarming and bittersweet. In the youth album, hyungwon made 2 songs for kihyun and he literally melted when he listened to kihyun singing bad liar during the recording (relatable). Other comment has mentioned 2chain's cover of You and I. They murdered that cover and the lyrics are spicy lol. Def recommend to check that out :D

I love a working man who looks so naturally attractive and good at what they are doing and enjoying their work. It's so captivating and attractive! and Kihyun one of that men for me. But he is a lot, so much to take in, I usually call him as concentrated force which is bad for you heart and health 🤭 this man never stopped wrecking me for all the years with MX Voyager and his first album was good, but I enjoy and love Youth bit more because of how personal it felt and spoke to me. Youth also feels like Kihyun himself in this lyrics, his character as we know him. It suits him so much!

Now that you've seen some of his solo stuff I woudl recommend watching him live. He is increadible live both in his solo stuff and with MX. Once you start getting into more interview/radio content you'll see he will sing acapella at the drop of a hat. He loves to sing which you can tell from his performances which is why I love to watch him. He had a program where he sang live with a band on Naver Now called Play. There are no full end subbed episodes but you can watch his covers. In fact he has a very mini cover of centuries by fall out boy done completely on the spot with the live band. I don't know if you'd be able to react to it on the channel because it's an MNET video, but you should totally check out Kihyun's cover of Christopher's Bad. There's also a live performance of his song Rain. I believe it's Mic In the Scene. It's so good! Also his songs Where Is This Love and Bad Liar are my favorites. Hyungwon produced them for Kihyun's second album.

I’m soooo excited to watch!!! Woah you saw Imagine dragons that’s awesome! I’m not a major fan but I also like them and I don’t get the hate either. Girl I’m going to try to link a vid of Kihyun partly singing along to FOB Centuries!! I grew up on Panic and them too I think it’s really admirable that Kihyun does exactly what he wants to do for his solo work because rock is really not popular in Korea. The Voyager album was an incredible debut even though he had to squeeze it in and the Youth album is just as good. Youth itself definitely caused some tears 😭 Thank you so much!! Kihyun is my ult and his voice is what first drew me into Monsta X, though of course I stayed because I fell in love with all of them ❤ Kihyun has a loooot I could recommend and pretty much all of them are safe to react to (only if you want to of course!) but if you want to check out more again eventually some of my favorites are Hug Me cover Wrecking Ball cover Fire Ost The Tiger Moth ost acoustic ver Radioactive cover ❤❤❤

My kpop fantasy team for rock/alt rock would be; SUPER JUNIOR Yesung, MONSTA X Kihyun, ATEEZ HongJoong and P1HARMONY KeeHo (and P1HARMONY Theo and Jiung, for that matter 😅), I swear, those vocals for these genres 🤯🤯 Yesung has covered Japanske jrock ONE OK ROCK's 'Chaosmyth', HongJoong has covered Linkin Park's 'Numb' and some other classic rock songs. KeeHo hasn't covered any english rock yet, but you get the feel of his voice for this, especially in P1HARMONY's song 'Mirror, Mirror' and their cover of Olivia Rodrigo's 'good 4 u' and his solo cover af (G)i-dle's 'Tomboy'. These four, together in one rock/alt rock song, would be *chefs kiss* SO GOOD - just pure music bliss 😊 I'm a huge rock/alt rock fan too. I grew up with Linkin Park and I really, really enjoy Imagine dragons, so I absolutely love when kpop artists get a little more rock, because several of them just have the most amazing voices for that genre, but it isn't that much used in kpop 😢 Speaking of kpop and Imagine Dragons, ATEEZ San made a dance cover of 'Warriors' and it's mind-blowing! 🤯

It's like "oooh the smile, oh those lyrics are deep ooooooh the smile, oh wait the lyrics" XD there is a beautiful reaction by another reactor to the song, she was all smilie at the start but she was concentrating on the lyrics and you can see second by second how she became sadder because the lyrics hit her so hard
