The song structure is so genius. The lyrics are basically about someone gaslighting themself into believing this toxic and not reciprocated love is enough and everything they want. But a one-sided relationship will never bring satisfaction. That's why the song is all about building up tension, but never releasing it or coming to a conclusion. The song is supposed to make you pause and wonder why it feels so off-putting but addictive at the same time. That why i love Monsta x so much after so many years of career they are still able to release quality music on a regular basis. no they never really had a big hiatus and they are still the major group of STARSHIP with now their little sister IVE. their rap line is still as monstrous . Toxic love? Monsta X love to live dangerously...!! The mv is really a great way to "show" the lyrics of the song. Broken glass, the chains, black and red... I love the contrast between their vocals part and the rapline... KIZZ FROM BRAZIL.💋

i already said love was experimental done right (they did mash different sounds and genres in one song), but beautiful liar takes that to ANOTHER LEVEL, the way i was expecting to hear another chorus but instead was greeted with another rap verse was 🤯 and the transition was really smooth too! i can already imagine how they’ll do the song as ot6 and HELL I’M EXCITED FOR THAT 😭😭

Here I am so we can melt down together. Monsta X has managed to completely throw me again. I get that feeling of thinking you know what Monsta X is capable of and then being shown something you did not expect. With Beautiful Liar, I think they are giving us a lot to digest with the concept and symbols (I think there are easter eggs in here), sound, song structure, lyrics, etc. I feel compelled to watch this again and again. Preach about their discography and everything they bring as a group! Monsta X deserves the recognition. I'll leave it at that.

I absolutely loved the song. Everyone attacked me, with vocals, visuals, everything. Everyone slayed, but Hyungwon SLAYED. And I agree. People sleep on them. Why? Their music is so good. I know everyone says the same thing about their favorite groups, but I feel like Monsta X should still be appreciated more. They consistently make good music. This concept is awesome for them! The beat drives this song and it's addicting to listen to, makes listeners curious for more! And not gonna lie, thought of Britney Spears too. Maybe it's the dark color pallete, sexy deep melody is close to If You Seek Amy even.

You spoke nothing but real at the beginning! I will always be there for my guys. I have been a fan almost 8 years now & they are my ult group! Anything they decide to do, I’m going to support it. I also wanna save more $$$ this year but I want concepts 1, 2, & 4 so bad 😩. The production is giving kinda euro-dance vibes where there’s, like, no resolution? It does leave you wanting much more! The guitar is SO yummy like this might be their sexiest title track to date. Dramarama’s older sexier more toxic brother. I’m so into it even if it’s not their usually hard hitting title tracks. Rush Hour was my favorite title track till now, then Love was released and it really disappointed me, it wasn't my taste at all sadly. So I hoped they would slay with this comeback bc Kihyun and Minhyuk will probably enlist soon.
