Kpop is nice. But to play Devil's advocate, some stans can really be too much. Stan Twitter is a hellhole of toxicity and I see why it causes a negative impact on kpop image to outside people. On another hand, there's some with too much prejudice against the idols themselves or the genre, which makes no sense. Sometimes is just bad rep, other cases is xenophobia, which have no excuses.

And the fact that these artists are very popular with younger people and they usually dont know how to deal with their emotions yet so they just lash out quicker 😅
