1:25 - my favorite moment. Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Tails, and Rouge coming together to protect Shadow was so touching. Even though Shadow may have been an enemy of theirs before, they understand now that he was just a hedgehog who'd been screwed over by the government and recognize that G.U.N's demonization of him is unjust.

Wow, some one who actually did a meaningfully tribute to his game, that's rare. I genuinely loved Shadows game and have an unpopular opinion about: it really doesn't ruin his character. Mainly it was about forming his own agency and choosing for himself on who HE wants to be. The only thing missing from this animatic was Black Doom tempting Shadow or Devil Doom squaring up Super Shadow. I also think Black Doom is a severely underrated villain that doesn't get enough credit. Given his design he's literally the devil on Shadow's shoulder whispering into his ear tempting him to the side of evil.

Right?!?! I mean i can understand why people aren't a fan of it but no game is perfect. I haven't played Shadow the hedgehog yet but after watching a play through of it this game has everything I could ever want in a game and Shadow is definitely one of the best characters to ever come out of a franchise and this animatic is a great example of why he is 🖤❤️

Wow this is just....AWESOME. I love seeing Shadow played with more emotions than just angy and broody. Having his regrets more visible and determination to right the chaps the Black Arms brought in because of him. Oh and i adore the Sonic gang comin in to back him up. POWER OF FRIENDSHIP BABY!

Oh my. I am actually crying. The way your interpretation of shadow is basically me, made this so realistic to me. I have these moments in that I loose hope completely, even stand on the edge of a building like he did here, but if left alone for long enough, my hope builds up on its own. I'm sure it's confusing! That's because this animatic takes place during the Shadow The Hedgehog game, and during that game Abraham still doesn't understand and thinks that that Shadow was to blame for Maria's death (at least, until the ending when things get cleared up). Dark Beginnings, in which we see that Abraham thinks very highly of Shadow, takes place much much later :) I really like that he becomes an ally eventually! But here, as he did in ShTH, he still thinks Shadow is his enemy-a monster to be captured.
