Came across this in a feverish search for things I used to watch as a kid, notably a channel that was a kid doing wrestling matches with Godzilla and other monster figures. Also some old Halo figure stop morion videos. But! I also found this again. Oh the memories… I used to watch this and the All Sculpt Chronicles as a kid, and I loved them so much. Thank you for the great watches I had! These claymation videos will always have a special place in my heart

Honestly I don't know why people want Clover and Godzilla to fight. I never considered putting Godzilla against Clover because, well I always saw Clover as a more realistic monster. It doesn't breathe fire or Atomic breath, it doesn't fight other monsters that were created by aliens or robots made by humans, it's just an animal on a MASSIVE scale. One could compare it to say, an elephant being spooked and going on a rampage. There's no reason for them to fight because one is an atomic monster with enhanced abilities and powers, and the other is just an animal. Sure, Godzilla could kill it, but it wouldn't be a fight like say, Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla or Destroyah.

Okay, this was a great video. I was expecting some dumb ass stop motion with some toys or something, but no. You did some actual good stop motion with clay. I also must say that the clay figures were very well done. They looked alot like the monsters. Gratz. The idea of them having a competition instead of a direct fight was clever. Godzilla would totally trounce the Cloverfield monster, but as you depicted in the video Clover would probably be much quicker.

Another note regarding Clover's anatomy. It does not have a secondary set of arms. Those are outer esauphaguse which it uses to grab and swallow human size prey.

Did anyone of you actually watched a Godzilla film? Lol. Height doesn't mean shit to Godzilla, he fought monster's taller then him & held his own. Feats? Hell, Godzilla is walking nuclear radioactive. Radioactive Breath/Abilities like nuclear pulse. Near immune to military weapons. The guy once survive a meteor impact, lava, & miniature blackhole. Can I remind you he has a healing factor that of Wolverine( To extent)? Only known man-made weapon that killed Godzilla was a Oxygen Destroyer. Clover's feats was able to survive a few bombs, that's it. Apparently, he's durable to being a creature that lives in very high pressure waters. I'm assuming his parasites contains a "venom" something similar to fire ants? Enough dose (tons of ants) could kill it's prey. Now imagine a Clover Parasite? Look what happened to Elena in the film? If those parasites target Godzilla, he'll just nuclear pulse them off. Probably die from Radiation poisoning. Nuclear breath would greatly hurt or kill Clover

Those things on Clover's head are not ears, they are lungs. As you have possibly noticed, he doesn't have gills, and his chest is too thin to carry a pair of lungs for his size, so the lungs are a pair of sacks on his head.

I don't want to be a party pooper but it bugs me that Clover is larger that Godzilla. Godzilla was 400 feet tall and judging by the movie clover field, clover isn't nearly that!

Godzilla was never actually 400 feet tall. That was just what the American dub claimed. It wasn't true. The original Godzilla was only 50 meters in height, which equals roughly 164 feet. The Cloverfield monster is supposedly 180 feet. Now personally I don't buy that the monster was really that tall based on the movie I saw because it certainly didn't look that tall, but those are as close to official numbers as you'll find. So, Cloverfield is bigger than the ORIGINAL Godzilla. Now that being said the other versions of Godzilla have all been 180 feet tall, 260 feet tall, 330 feet tall, and now this latest Godzilla in the movie coming out this year is reportedly 350 feet tall. So those Godzilla's would absolutely dwarf the cloverfield monster, no question about it.

switchbuckle5th Godzilla for most of his career was about 265-280 feet tall. then in the 90's after the gidorah movie he was 300 feet tall. the American Godzilla 2014 is between 325-350 feet tall depending on the source.

They explained Godzilla's Organizer G-1 cell regeneration ability in Godzilla 2000. While Clover was never shown getting wounded, and they never mentioned any sort of fast healing ability. So I'm going to assume Clover doesn't have fast cell regeneration, until they show it/say he has it.

Destroyah didnt kill Godzilla, Godzilla melted from his own power. Godzilla made Destroyah retreat and weakened him so much that it was killed by the military's freeze rays.

Well, there's Godzilla's famous track record, beating more than 29 monsters whereas Clover was against puny humans. Then there's their vulnerability to conventional weapons; Godzilla wins no doubt considering he's resistant to goddamn laser cannons whereas Clover gets knocked down by a few missiles. Granted, it's not known what the nuke did to him.

Clover survived hundreds of bombs, thousands of shells were fired at Clover, and millions of bullets have been shot at Clover. Didn't even get damaged, so no Clover doesn't regenerate, due to the fact that it can't get hurt.
