Great Job Monsters! When I took our 6 & 8 y/o bboys to their first event, I saw a 12 y/o Zeku doing 1990s over and over in the corner. I admired his dedication then and now. It's inspiring to see him succeeding with this awesome crew!

USA teams always make Routines look BBOY. I love how skill methodz routines are short and straight to the point. I could watch that flavor all day. I hate when a crew goes out there and bops around with some played out top rock routine which lasts 5mins long and then does some cheezy acrobatic garbage. Keep it in your home town. If your gonna compete in the top, it better be hype! Cheers to the Monsters!

To be honest, I'm from the UK but I didn't like how Soul Mavericks kept trying to Diss every move or mistake the other crew made. I understand bboys taunt each other to a certain extent but then it becomes a lil disrespectful; especially when you're taunting someone but in actual fact your not even a better bboy than they are. Super crews are usually commercial in nature for promotion purposes so it's expected for them to only have the best. If I'm not mistaken super crew members are paid for getting to the top 16 of any event by their sponsors, and the higher they get the better the pay. That being said, I prefer crews that were in it together from day 1 too. Battling is one thing, getting to know your teammates and improving with them is another thing entirely.

True enough but most of the relevant crews from the 90s are old and retired. Its kinda why the bboy essence has disappeared to an extent. Monster Crew has that essence which is nice to see in a status quo scene. This event is cool because it brings back the 5 vs 5 6 vs 6 battle which is more exciting.

I don't think it's very fair that a company like Monster or Red Bull can basically just pay for the best B-boys in the world, and then compete with a bunch of teams that are much more locally based. Obviously they are going to win the championship.
