The comparison of the Monster and the JBL is fun to see in effect. Its a combination of Psychologocal pricing at work with a dab of buyers remorse (justifying to yourself that the JBL is somehow still worth what you paid by tiny differences). Im not calling you out, Im just stating it cause I do the same thing. I recently bought the HTC xr elite and did the same thing for a week before I returned the piece of garbage and just used my Q-Pro. Good video man, god bless.

You don't mention the latency, for watching TV. What is the latency coding eg APx LL etc?
@yuxuanlei95863 жыл бұрын
Monster and JBL which one will you choose? What if you add Sony's? I'm very torn about which one to buy, can you give me some advice?
@sagesoundgadgets30913 жыл бұрын
Look the JBL sound a bit better when it comes to clarity, the Monster sound good too and deliver a nice punch in Bass and are cheaper, If you don't mind spending a bit more go with the JBL but if you want to save some Money the Monster are worth the money. Hope that helps and please subscribe if you haven't 😉

Got mine new for $53. Sound is very good. Comfortable too. As far as tonal response...that is very subjective. Use an EQ app and you can customize the tone anyway you prefer. But even on a flat EQ setting this product sounds very balanced and clear. I believe these are actually manufactured by LG.

How is the latency on these when watching movies or gaming?
@r0kus3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the informative review. I see you already replied to questions about latency/lip-synch issues, and they seemed fine. What about the built in mic? Would you use it for games or to talk on the phone? A case would be nice, but it's absence is not a deal-breaker for me. I mean, I carry my neck and shoulders already wherever I go. 🙂

Can you use these as normal speakers, like for general use? Let’s say you didn’t wear them around your neck
@sagesoundgadgets30912 жыл бұрын
You can but, they wouldn't be really loud because the shoot the sound up to your ears. So alot of people would tell me that they can barely hear the music but I felt like I was bumping. Hope that helps and please subscribe if you haven't 😉.

Good review. I do like my Monsters after buying without any research. However, I like to try to get the best out of sound where possible. Without disagreeing with the review, IMO, the Monsters are a bit boomy and it carries through the audio range. I can even ‘feel’ music in my collarbone. Now I’m trying to find a good set with crisp sound for podcast and ebook dialogue and laid back jazz. Funny, from this and other reviews.it seems the JBL’s are emerging to satisfy this niche. Leave off being picky, for value I think the Boomerang is a great deal if I could only have one set.
