A soft-bossed, 8-year old bull at best. Wearing camouflage while driving around all day in a fenced property looking at pen-raised animals so conditioned to vehicle traffic that you can get within 10 yards of them is not hunting by any means. Welcome to South Africa.

I'm sorry you don't find this bull to your quality, but JC was very grateful. And the camo is because in our native land of United States, we wear camo when we hunt (like the local PHs and trackers wearing khaki and muted colors) so that's just habit. . . and we also got out of the truck to spot and stalk multiple times during the day, so camo is pretty handy there. And we didn't run into any of the bulls we were after that would stand in sight of a truck for more than a couple seconds before bolting into the brush. Thanks for the sarcastic "welcome to South Africa", we'll be returning soon.

@@MyWorldOutdoorsYT "Native land???" I'm from Texas. The point is that if you are going to drive around in the truck all day it's kind of silly to be all camo'd up. As for the bull, it should be honestly represented for what it is. That youngster could be called a decent representative bull but had he been given the chance to age to maybe 12 or even 14 years old he might have been a lot more. There's no way he's 10 or 12 like the outfitter states or he wouldn't have that soft spongy spot in the middle of his horns. And If you actually did get out to spot and stalk you might have actually shown that in your video instead of all the driving around the viewer sees, and you might have edited out the part where the outfitter says at 9:07 "we bumped into them got off the truck and got a good shot in..." Not exactly befitting of a story by Hemingway or Ruark, but representative of South Africa for sure and it's the poor consumer that gets fooled into thinking that the did something that is the victim here.

Again, I am very sorry you don't think the animal "big" enough or the hunting tactics fit within your personal narrative of what constitutes a successful hunt to be celebrated. Also, I am sorry you feel the need to get on here and demean someone for having a camo vest on. And falling short of the narrative prowess of Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark is something I'm comfortable with.

@@MyWorldOutdoorsYT Also "welcome to South Africa" is intended for all those sportsmen who dream of going on Safari one day. If their dream is to drive around all day and then hopefully jump off the truck and shoot a pen-raised animal inside a fence, then South Africa is the place to be.

@@MyWorldOutdoorsYT You're missing the point. It's not the size of the bull. It's the manner of the "hunt" and the BS story that he's an old warrior. It's the silliness of wearing camouflage to ride around in a truck all day. To each his own for sure, but don't paint it up - call it what it is.
