The shiny crap (especially the pick up trucks) lined up outside don't seem to serve any purpose other than to show off the build/paint skills involved (or sometimes lack of). But if they don't run and drive, then they aint worth a sh1t.....

I recently started a new job, and one day got chatting about plasma cutters with a coworker, who is of an earlier vintage than myself. Of course I had to mention the arc droid while on the subject, and to my surprise he said that he knows all about them from watching the grind hard youtube channel, so we discussed some of the various builds and how well Patrick fits the outfit. It's funny about the comments about getting someone's attention in Vegas, you see a lot of that stuff and sure, it's cool and you'll drool a bit but it's just another say Mustang roided up. This is... something mythological, it belongs in a batman or Mad Max movie and it looks fun. The crazy thing is that it is mostly just plain ole parts put together in the right way to make something special. Even crazier is how well it appears to work, stand up by itself, not surprised that it handles in snow, quite an accomplishment.

The Monster Chopper turns heads because it's a piece of 'engine art' that doesn't look like it should move, but then it does move. It's hard to make a historical comparison, but imagine the Easter Island statues suddenly blinked and started asking what time it was. So you see the Monster Chopper on display and it looks amazing, that's all fine. But then you hear the engine start. I've watched you guys build the thing on this channel and even I would not be able to look away if I saw it in real life. Proper mechanical art.
