Treasure Planet was sabotaged from within, because they didn't make it all-3d. There was a faction of execs that undermined any attempts to market the movie in favor of the big all-3D movies of the era...

I imagine they "lock" the money spent on a character to avoid people literally resetting every single time they just swap to a new character. That could get INCREDIBLY tedious, so they remove the option. I get that it feels bad to spend it all in a character then have to start from scratch again with the next... The more generous solution would be to just allow every character to have their own share of money instead. So you earn 500 coins, every char can spend 500 coins now... that would make the game feel much less grindy, even if they adjusted the prices to more or less be the same... Just throwing random ideas.

Kinda giving me a good reason for warframe mastery level vibes. I.e. an overall earned level or currency that Every character is able to get but it sorta let's you have a bumped up start rather than a full on restart of the tree for each character. could tie it to total achievements or something

I get the feeling that your issues with meta progression are to give longevity while it's in beta. It's highly possible meta progression will get more relaxed on full release when there are more characters to have meta progression on

I feel like I've seen the wholesomeverse guys say they prefer when bullet heavens do something to break the mold. Does this do anything unique in your perspective, or is it more just solid polish?

Solid polish + full online multiplayer, which is fairly rare. You'll probably notice me constantly suggesting ways to break the mold/improve the formula whenever I cover this game, because it could go so much further IMO.

Having watched two videos on this, I feel like this game's main contribution to the Bullet Heaven genre is massive grind. While it has nice presentation, and maybe the multi is cool, as far as solo goes it feels like it's a grindathon. Grind attacks to unlock synergy evolutions. Grind pacsuns for per-character meta. Grind achievements to unlock new abilities. I'm sure that's someone's jam, but not mine.

I think they need to rethink the music. These type of games are hectic and the peaceful music is kinda annoying imo I want some tempo idk it's kinda like giving me anxiety or somthing😂

I got in on the playtest and o have a few thoughts One this feels and looks like a mini game no unoque animation. No unique mechanics I have played few pokemon and Digimon. Spin offs. Official and not. And this doesn't have. Anything new It feels and looks like a vampire survivor clone with nothing on top. Heck if it didn't have temtems i don't know if u can count it The things that made temtem seni unique was its mmo and stamina for moves and synergy for moves Nothing here it is boring. Why would i pay 20 plus bucks for a c tier vampire survivors clone I get it is a playtest. But i doubt they will add catching or anything that fits the world
