5:12:58 That's the damn wreck that cost Trevor Bayne his second win. Bayne had a shit ton of talent but of course he was in Roush when they were horrible. Hell they still are, they have gotten better but Jesus Christ this is when they were bad. Bayne should've won this race. If he didn't have any talent than boy was he smart.

Honestly you deserve something nice. Because its the fans like you that remain dedicated when many others are not and I like hearing this kind of thing. Hate seeing all the empty seats at Indy now versus 10-15 years ago. Do you think or have you maybe experienced and seen that the 2008 race with the GoodYear tire fiasco was when attendance for NASCAR at Indy started to really fall? I think that race really didn't do any favors to help NASCAR's popularity at Indy

Indy I think is usually the most boring race on the circuit, I really think they should either do it on the road course or replace it all together, but you also have to remember they had a delay due to lightning, the stands are always more empty after a weather delay
@teddyator7 жыл бұрын
It's just the mere enourmous size of the grandstands puls as said before, the Indy 500 overshadows it and NASCAR generally isn't that much of a deal any more (sadly)
@cjs831727 жыл бұрын
And let's also not forget that IMS has always been the worst track to watch a race from because of the grandstands, which have very limited visibility for the fans, something that goes all the way back to 1949, when Tony Hulman had the grandstands double-decked because of the popularity of the Indianapolis 500, even then.

It's sad that there is NO crowd at Indy. It's an awesome race track to visit. I live overseas, otherwise I'd be there. Why is nobody going to see NASCAR races in-person anymore, especially Indy?
@BH28Racing7 жыл бұрын
Rainy1Windy there were a lot of people there. People just don’t sit in the grandstands. A lot of people sit in the campgrounds or on the viewing mounds like I did. The viewing mounds cost nothing. All you have to do is pay to get in and that’s it. So that’s why there aren’t a lot of people in the stands anymore. But usually at NASCAR races there are a lot of people.
