Heads up fans. This track puts on the best road race experience I've seen. The sight lines are great nearly everywhere. The Cup Cars are awesome on this track as well. It's kind of like a short track fight on a road course that you can actually watch live. Because of the low speed corners you get a lot of first and second gear wide open throttle. Cup Cars are monsters in first and second gear. 40 of them racing down the S turns? It's great!

I stopped watching ANY NASCAR when they introduced "the chase". Now May 2019, Thought I would give the Sonoma race a watch (I love road racing). Now they threw in this stupid "stage" crap. Very disappointed. Guess the France family figured their racing wasn't interesting enough. T-down!

I thought the idea of the Chase was stupid and then they made it into a play-off system which totally ruined any interest I had in the championship as a whole. I can still enjoy individual races but the whole "stage" business really doesn't help the racing at all.

Agree. Ive even become accustomed to hearing Jeff. Jeff has improved greatly in his commentating and I genuinely enjoy him in the booth even though I hated him on the track. Dale Jr is now in the spotlight and I liked Jr on the track but I dunno if I will like him in the booth. Fucking crazy how we are at the halfway point already. Time flies. I will say also this has been kind of an uninspired/boring season for me as a viewer. Hopefully we can have some fresh winners in victory lane second half.

Personally I like the CBS coverage of NASCAR and TNT, TBS, TNN(Now called PARAMOUNT NETWORK), ESPN and FOX but Not NBC that Network has MONOPOLIZING on All of the Good Sports on Network Television including the WWE

I kinda like it. They don’t handle that well and have a lot of power so the drivers have to be careful. Also it can bring a balance of driver skill and equipment because of that. That’s why Ambrose and Allmendinger won.
