WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back in the old days... I was a kid fishing at the mouth of 12 mile and there was a guy fishing with a bobber. He threw into the current coming into the lake and BOOM under went his bobber. He caught 3 football browns so damn fast! This was back when the tribs would be closed in the fall and open on the first day of trout season.

This is the exact same way we fish for steelies in Erie, same way I fish for trout here, never use a bobber for them

It’s been the best year for a real long time I’ve heard a lot of people say they’ve seen them caught I’ve got one this year that was around 6 lbs

Lots of browns where I live. Caught a 20 plus pound male.last year. Lots lake.trout again too. Browns absolutely love and kill rainbow eggs. Only ever caught them using rainbow eggs

Mucky dirty water is the best fishing for steels and browns brother. They don't need to see anything they have incredible smell too
