Love the ZMan GOAT on the spinner bait. Who knew a bass-oriented flipping creature bait would snag so many saltwater fish? I love them for both over here in the St. Marks River

I love the fact that you are fishing around Jaxport and can see the Carnival Elation in the background. I’ve cruised out of Jaxport many times, and I’ve always wondered about the fishing around there. Question answered!

Great video, CA. I saw you attach a blade arm to a jig. Do you have a source for getting just the arm that I can add to a jig head?
@_LateralMedia_2 ай бұрын
Not that I’m familiar with off the top of my head. There are several companies that make bladed jigs pre-rigged and ready to go. Just need to add a soft plastic.
@fowlplayoutdoors682 ай бұрын
@@_LateralMedia_thanks. Since I already have tons of jig heads I thought just getting the arm would save tackle space.

If you're not catching flounder in jacksonville, you might need to change the way you're fishing. I've not had much luck with spinners in saltwater. I throw mostly vudu shrimp or other soft plastic shrimp. Most tidal creeks with current moving around islands should hold flounder. I've had more success fishing higher tides, throwing along islands on the edge of the grass. If targeting trout I work my lure faster and higher in the water column. Flounder is the opposite, slower and lower.

@@fishnusa no need to be harsh, some of us dont get to go out much like others.

This guy knows. Flounder are bottomed dwellers gotta have contact with the bottom.
