I do miss spearfishing in JPN. So many fish compared to Hawaii. Many of the same fish but more fish there, better water visibility, no current, smaller less aggressive sharks, and coral trout! Arigato for the video Tatsusan. That bent shaft is the perfect end to a great day in the best fishing part of the Pacific!

Great catches 👍🏽. 3:10 one of the most popular fish among fishermen in Saudi Arabia (Red Sea) we call it Stars Grouper, because the white spots look like stars. 4:30 it’s (Najel) in Arabic, this fish is every fisherman dream 😄 we pray before any fishing trip to catch one, it’s the Ferrari of the sea and the most expensive fish in Saudi fish market. Good luck and stay safe 🙏🏽

@NANANA club if you aren’t Japanese be careful of the Japanese Coast guard if spearing. And don’t plan on taking your “launcher” with you on the plane. Either buy something there and sell it when done or ship yours a couple weeks in advance to an address labeled as “fishing gear” and avoid saying or writing the “3-letter-G-word” on a customs form. I suppose you could try bringing your “launcher” on the plane without the spear and purchasing one from a local fishing store, there are many stores near the coastline.

@@carterlee287 Good luck brother, they aren’t going to let a non-Japanese person have a permit, many have tried. I tried to get a license and they laughed at me like villains in a Shaw brothers film! 😂 The deck is stacked against SOFA members in JPN. Either find another hobby or learn to avoid the JCG (hint: avoid all ports, Japanese fishermen, boats and use a low profile bogey board as a float).
@carterlee2872 жыл бұрын
@@Dornosliw Thank you. Do you have a favorite place for spearfishing?
@Dornosliw2 жыл бұрын
@@carterlee287 too public a forum for that here. There are places JCG and Japanese fisherman cannot go. You know these places very well already just think about it for a moment. Stick to those sites or fish extremely remote places. *Pro tip: it’s not illegal to own or even possess a speargun in the water but you can be fined if there is evidence you took the fish with a speargun gun. Plan your egress with this in mind.

Great spearing mate, however what the heck are you going to do with a GT that big, they taste rather bad. In fact in Aust, they are caught purely for sport only and always returned to the water....
@RTLFishingChannel2 жыл бұрын
Although the meat rather bad, it does still taste good with a proper grilling/ cooking like we mostly do as traditional villagers in İndonesia. Oriental seasoning still preserve the sensuous of the meat when biting. Garlic, onion, coriander, lemongrass, ginger, turmeric,galangal, leaf of lime, and a bit salt. They are all blended together with mixer and rub the seasoning to the fillet that has been greased with lime. While grilling, make sure to grease the seasoning reppeatedly
