I’m so happy that he’s fully speaking on this!!! I’m a small collector so my name isn’t very known, but I have mentioned several times that content creators will avoid addressing this to stay on the Mattel PR list. The average collector probably doesn’t have so much money, and while we’re fighting against bots content creators get off a bit easier. As they get the dolls free and don’t have to fight through every launch. Thank you for shedding light on this issue! ❤❤❤

This is the one time I've ever just sucked it up and bought her from a reseller, I wanted this doll so badly I don't mind spending the extra money this one time. She's arriving today and I'm so freaking excited! Mattel creations is definitely too stressful I did everything right and it didn't work, but I'm not gonna be negative about it I'm glad I could afford to buy her anyways I am very grateful for that 🙏

She's gorgeous!! I think you phrased your criticism of Mattel really well, and I appreciate you including it in there. The launch was so frustrating for me because I was on well before the launch time, managed to get it into the cart after the website crashed for me a couple of times, only for it to sell out while I was waiting in "line". I know I'm far from the only person to have this experience, so they definitely need to do something to fix it!

I really think that mattel should limit 1 doll per person or two if you want one still in its box, its really unfair that you waited and for me I saved money for a draculaura doll from my lunch budgets but it sold out in the website. I dont want to buy from resellers because they add way too much extra

This happened to me with the Haunt Couture Lagoona doll a few weeks ago; had it in my basket, in line and their damn site crashed and I lost out - had to pay a resellers for her which pissed me off. This one seller had 27 dolls!! Explain how the hell they were able to purchase all those. I reached out to Mattel and not a word from them.

Really like how you addressed the shortage of collector dolls and the reseller bots. I’ve missed every collector doll, but I would never resent anyone else for receiving one. I’m happy I get to experience the dolls on yours and others channels, but you’re right! Mattel needs to do restocks! Thank you for talking about this! You do a great job on your channel!

I love that you decided to speak on this! I’ve been trying to get back into collecting MH dolls (skullector, haunt couture, etc.) but it’s insane how hard it is to get any dolls on Mattel Creations. I finally caved and bought the Dracula skullector for over $300 which, according to me, is completely outrageous. Mattel really needs to control bots and do some restocks. Love your videos by the way :)

I love her! Yes I agree we need restocks and more and better distribution of all g1 dolls. I have also been trying to get the other releases especially the reel drama but I’m not pay those scalper prices; these are current dolls and there’s absolutely no reason for that cost! It’s a 2022 doll! I really hope to see this howliday winter Draculaura in stores! I would definitely still get her well after the holidays although I really want to get her in this season soon. I have never been one to Rebox but because it’s a holiday doll I’d be interested in doing so as to keep her nice for the next year when she could come out again incorporated into decorations where I can still play with them some. (definitely a repeat cycle)

I love this doll! I really wanted her, but I will not buy from a second hand seller and if seems Matel just doesn't want Monster High fans to have Monster High dolls. I have OG's, I've been collecting since the being, I still remember the day I saw Frankie at my local Wal-Mart, I knew I was not leaving that store on that day without her. She got me back into collecting all those years ago. Now I just have to enjoy my OG and the new G3's cause I have yet to been able to buy any of the release of the OG's. It makes me rather possess off at Matel. But I am so very happy for you that you got her and I love your enthusiasm for your dolls! You have such a wonderful channel!

It's so dad how the industry and bots are transforming the collecting hobby into a war! Hopefully things will get better with the restocks. The doll is absolutely cute! i`m not proud, but i grabbed her off from a reseller for around 75€. I dont think Mattel will release her here in Germany. We didnt even get the Creeproduction line, only through mattel creations and these sold out in minutes. the restock aswell. Its so frustrating for Europeans, while in the US they released in stores. We experience fomo real hard.

I'm so frustrated and tired of this limited dolls. I'm from Brazil and buying these dolls is extremely expensive, and even if you have the money for buying, it's impossible to get them. I couldn't even get the creeproduction. If Mattel continue like this I will stop collecting Monster high.

I'm so happy we are getting Gothic holiday themed doll 🤩 but I do agree, I always get awful anxiety with these dolls, I always succeeded since greta (because I got a job before her drop and I didn't know beetlejuice and Lydia existed by that time) and it also got bad in which one drop I got nausea and threw up (cleo doll) so I believe mattel needs to wake up and do something.

They were stocked up with the howliday Draculaura at Walmart. Plus it’s $42 right now on Amazon, I just got one for myself! Too bad Mattel can’t get their act together but unfortunately that’s their usual. Ppl need to start lobbying them more to stop being such a Krusty brand company. I use tiny craft scissors to get my dolls out of their boxes without tearing them.

Wow, I had no idea she sold out in three minutes. I was able to get her off of mattel creations and have no idea how I managed after that; but yeah, it is SO stressful. My heart was racing because I knew most of them would go to scalpers. Really upsetting honestly. I was so excited for reel drama but that was a whole mess with other random restocks at Walmart and such. And I’ve had to overpay for some of the dolls to where I can’t even get them all because they’re no longer in my budget with how high people are marking them up. I tried so hard to stay on top of these things but the disorganization is a major problem.

I think this doll is so pretty! I live in Canada and was able to order two from Amazon Canada on the 18th. I imagine some people bought a bunch from Amazon on that day. Shipping is supposed to be in about two weeks, and I really hope they don't cancel the order. Especially for something that is not a specific collector doll in the way that Skullector and Haunt Couture are, Mattel needs to get their act together. Maybe demand far exceeded what they thought, but they were advertising before the 18th like it was going to be as common as a Holiday Barbie, and that was definitely not the case.

It's not actual demand, it's scalpers specifically telling other scalpers to purchase her so they can make 2-3 times the profit on what they bought her for. They think we're all a bunch of idiots. NEVER, never purchase a scalper doll.

Yeah I heard the Mattel creations site has a lot of issues however that wasn’t my experience. I’m just an average monster high fan who happened to get super lucky and snag one of these dolls without any issues. This doll drop was my first time doing this. I had the site loaded ahead of time and used PayPal to check out. I was definitely worried when I was in the waiting room and the checkout was slow but my purchase went through. It was stressful. Great video btw😍

I agree with so many of your views. I love monster high. I've been with it since it first came out. I've actually been trying to become part of the team, but no contact back 🙇. I love holiday drac. She's actually really pretty and I only have select dracs I like lol. I don't agree with Mattel still branding them at age 6. They used to be 11^ and should go back to that. It's the 6 year olds who were choking on the parts!

I use fingernail clippers. I wouldn't even rip a $5 basic doll out of the packaging like that. If I do eventually get her, I'm trimming her bangs to look like they do on the back of the packaging. I have yet to see one with the angled bangs in the box.

Thanks for addressing the awful state of releases. It's like trying to get Amiibos all over again. We are in 2022, not 2015. There are proven ways to slow down and stop the bots. I've gotten 2 of the standard G3 dolls because they're the only dolls I can get. I already have to suffer bots and scalpers for video game releases. I am NOT dealing with them for MH dolls.

The doll amazing but I'm kinda disappointed since they released g3 but still using the g1 mold for collective dolls is kinda confusing and not good in my opinion. i feel like the reason why they sell out so fast is because they are letting the run go for a looong time in some countries and some other's it's just a 2 minute drop, but i think it's mostly because of the scalper bots. it's getting f-ing ridiculous. i didn't end up getting her🥲😭
