I don’t think she’s a terrible doll like many others have expressed. There’s things I would’ve tweaked like maybe more paint apps on the chest piece, it looks like a blob from a distance. I would’ve also done an actual hair style for her. I think that when you compare her to the first releases of the haunt couture line, which were in the same price range, it just doesn’t add up. If she had been $40-45, she would’ve been better received.

I just bought Acrylic paint markers and painted her chest piece details. Definitely makes her a lot better. For $75 though I shouldn't have had to that. I bought 2 so I experimented with the one I opened. I painted the leaves and flowers, I also painted little silver dots everywhere. I'm tempted to do her earrings, just the candle part though. I'm happy I got her and Im not mad at people that dont like her, its understandable.

I'm thinking of putting tiny Swarovski crystals on her skirt to make it shimmer....🤔❤️✌️ Blythe and Snodgrass did that with their teacup fairies and mermaids back in the day...

I did the same. I changed the colors of the candle Head piece, added color to the flowers on the bodice piece, boot pieces and the vapor heels ✨

Most people got on a train and left us, thats ok. I absolutely adore this girl and I don't even have her yet to fully realize and appreciate her. I may have to get led candles like I have for Rochelle for her as well. I know the name on the box and her candle glows but I want to illuminate her softly as well. She is definitely a blend of haunted and gloom and bloom.

Uggh life had been kicking me sm, that I was excited to see the notification! I think I'm more of a fan of the idea of getting new g1 MH characters and than I am with Lenore herself tbh. I would love to see g1 continue alongside g3, but I do hope later original character releases don't have to cost $75, like I would appreciate if the accessories we're at least painted plss mattel its the bare minimum atp lol😭

EDIT: ALSO, I actually think the doll is really really cute, I may not think she's 75$ cute, but, like...if I had the money I would absolutely buy her, I love the flowly gown, the flower, spiderweb & mushroom motif, she's beautiful. OH and the glitter tears, c'mon. I feel like sometimes people just like to bitch for the sake of bitching, when like...you could just say "Not feeling this." I'm not really a fan of the G1 bodies and I really don't like how the neck and chin look on them, so that's why I never made the effort to collect the original MH dolls, but dang, Lenore sure is GORGEOUS! I would gladly pay the $111 dollars I would have to pay to have her IF I were willing to collect G1 dolls and I hadn't gone broke buying all my G3 dolls... 😭

When I saw her I knew her pictures did not do her justice because she is really pretty. I'm so glad I got her. I too wish she was less but im glad I got her. Her dress is very cute. It will be a ramen noodle month!

I've noticed people are willing to splurge on a doll they don't completely vibe with if it's their favorite character. That doesn't bode well for Lenore I'm afraid lol She's just not worth the $75+shipping for me. I like the concepts they went with, but execution-wise there is so much I would change. I think my main gripe is if you didn't know from the announcement she was a garden ghost, I'd assume she was some Spider-mom because of all the cobwebs. Where are the mushroom/foliage motifs from the box? They came up with spiders, candles, and vines and called it a day (and the vines don't immediately register imo).... I like her colors, face, and the overall vibe they were going for with her dress (don't care for the print on it - it's giving spooky kindergarten blanket vs shadows being cast by the garden ) but yeah, not for $75.

The issue is that she looks cheap. Cheaply made and cheaply designed. $35-$40 would justify the way she came out. How are creeproductions 25 and they come with so much?
